Professor Layton and the Diabolical Box is the sequel to Professor Layton and the Curious Village. It tells the events of Layton, Luke and Flora as they unravel the mystery of Devil's Box and the murder of Layton's mentor. It is to be released September 13, 2009 for North America.

I'm very excited for this game. ^^ I was a huge fan of the first, and cannot wait for this one. -grabby paws-

Oh wow, finally a release date. I loved (and completed) the first one, and before my mum who got it a week before me. I hope it's as good or better...

Yeah, I was watching it for a while. I checked back and the date was there. ❤

I'll probably be there bright and early to buy the game. xD And hopefully wont be stumped on a puzzle before somebody puts up the answers.

The series is one of my favourites to grace the DS. But I bet you anything that the date will be pushed back, whether it's the JP or NA release, it doesn't matter, it will.

The ending to the first one was just so amazing though. I really couldn't wait for another one in the series to come out... And finally, Q3 of this year.

WHAAAAAAT? I liked it when it was "Pandora's Box." Why'd they have to change the awesome name? Well, it's good to finally have a release date. I finished Layton this year so I've been wanting to play the sequel and of course, open that secret room in the first one. >3

It sounds more like the Japanese name, The Diabolical Box, as a guess.
