An advertising forum complaint.

I go on to a board, curious as to what they're selling. It says that they're accepting wishlist items. I think, ''Oh! Great!'' and I go through their [usually] big assed wishlist that takes up to 3 minutes to load, go to said board and list the wishlist items I can offer. The reply?

''Oh, I'm only looking for pure at the moment, sorry.''

AAAAAAH sdfghjkl;lkdsaadghkl

It makes me so angry :(

Why the FUCK does it say then that you're accepting wishlist?

See, I wouldn't mind if the reply was something like ''Oh, sorry that one isn't really high on my list'', that's fair enough. But. Why. Say. You're. Accepting. Wishlist. When. You're. Not? :x

I also know a lot of people quote their old boards, but that isn't an excuse. If they can edit out the items they've sold, they can edit out one tiny little sentence.

A minor annoyance, but still. It's been happening to me more frequently as of late, and I needed to vent x)

=/ that is kind of stupid...that in fact doesn't even make sense. At least change it in your first post if you are going to be like that. Even if you are only taking certain wishlist you should note that.

You could always post asking if they're accepting before you look through it?

Chances are then though they'll be like '...... did you read my first post? gawd ur sew stoopid'

I agree with that. Although I know myself I'm usually too lazy to even edit the items. I tend to make a new list every time I make a new thread. xD

It's really stupid. I hate when you discover that you have one of the wishlist items that they want, and then you offer it and they tell you they only want pure. It's ridiculous because its a simple matter to edit out the line that says they accept wishlist.

That's happened to me before. I try to stay polite but usually I mention they should say next time that they want pure only, or list the wishlist items they WILL take.

I get annoyed with it, that's why I edit the first post if I change my mind -.- It's such a simple fix I don't see the problem NOT changing it, really. Takes maybe a minute. Edit the post, take out the 'I'm taking WL', and done.

thanks for giving me yet another reason to stay away from that forum - I was actually considering taking a browse

Groucho Marx said: A child of five would understand this.
Send someone to fetch a child of five.

He also Said: I have a mind to join a club and beat you over the head with it.

Changing your mind is fine, but you should edit your post to state that. Because some people look see that the seller accepts wishlist and then instead of posting first, they go through the sellers wish list, price check everything and then offer. Thats a lot of work just to hear, "Oh, I changed my mind."

that's the sort of thing that definitely encourages me to NOT bother dealing with that seller.

If they can't manage that basic courtesy, they're probably going to be difficult to deal with in other aspects of the purchase too.
