Yea. I've been asking myself that question since like, 2 AM. Not even joking.
My dad had diarrhea around 1 AM, which I was up for, then puked violently around 2 AM, which woke me up and had me almost puking.
Then he goes off again at around 5 AM, and my mom cleans and bangs on my door (I was awake, trying not to hear him throw up) and bitches me out for not caring and blah blah blah. (which is bs but anyway)
Now I have to go downtown and ask a pharmacist (which doesn't open until 9 fucking o'clock) about how to treat whatever this is, go food shopping and buy stuff for him, and then get him to go to the doctor. My mom wants to test him for swine flu. I doubt that's it, but it won't hurt to get tested.
So I probably got around 4 hours of broken sleep. And I'm not eating anything today because I swear to god I will just puke it up.
Sorry for the long rant, and if you read this all you are great :)
Has anyone else ever had a similar experience? Or any helpful suggestions? Would love to have feedback!

Eww gross.
He's just got a tummy bug.
Tell your dad he can't eat oils, fats, dairy, meats, vegetables, fruit, grains, rice, cereals, breads or sugary foods.
Basically anything that has substance.
He needs a hydrating drink like Gastrolyte or Hydrolyte or Gatorade. Clear soups and water.
Second day he can have clear soups and maybe some dry bread or crackers to dip in his soup, fresh apple grated untill a little brown. MAYBE some boiled chicken, if he isn't vomiting too much.
oooh yeah also, tell him to drink hot water, it helps kill the bugs inside his tummy, and he will feel a little better afterwards.
Edit- not boiling water! Thats too hot, but hotter than warm, yanno?
Blergh tummy bugs are so disgusting.
Hope you get some sleep soon.
Thank you guys for responding!
I did get some sleep, and my dad hasn't vomited since around 4 AM. Now it's just poo.
Poor daddy. Yea, we give him plenty of water and Pedialyte, and some chicken broth. He's had 3 saltines to eat and he's been keeping everything down. He really wants coffee though and keeps pestering me and my mom for it. I tell him not to have it until a few days from now, and my mom agrees with me.
And the doctor does think that it's probably the stomach flu, so hopefully my dad should be getting better soon. He's resting right now.
Poor daddy...
