Gah.... I have a HUGE crush on one of my closest guy friends, and I have this crush for two years now, and it's getting worse...

Well, the other day, a couple of weeks back, my friend told him, and all he said was something like this.

"Oh... I've known. It's obvious."

I asked him if he was mad or anything and he said that it was a stupid reason to be mad.

Well... I want to do something... I want to know what the hell he thinks of me.... He won't say anything about that though. He's just sooo damn mellow and careless of what others think of him, to the point where it is ridiculous... :(

My friends say he might like me, because he's nicer to me than he is them, but I think it's only because he's known me longer.

He treats me exactly the same as he did before he knew that I liked him, or my friend told him to clarify that I liked him, and he doesn't talk about it.

I'm stressed out over this, and since he's one of my closest friends, I feel like a whore for liking him... Any tips?

why would you feel like a whore for liking someone? If that were true then we'd all be dirtyass skanks.

ANYWAY you should ask him directly how he feels about you. worst thing that could happen is your friendship continues as it is now.

I feel like a whore because he's my best guy friend. I'm weird like that. I want to, but everytime I even try, I stammer and freeze up, and he tells me that I'm embarrassing myself, and just to let it go.

How does that make you a whore because you like someone? Or am I missing something? [edit]

Do yourself a favor and do not get involved with him.

If you are having problems before you get involved (feeling like a whore for just liking the bloke well that is a problem) it could probably just get worse if you tried to get involved with him.

He obviously doesn&;t like you if he&;s known you like him and hasn&;t asked you out.

agreed.

There's your answer. Sorry hun but it sounds like he doesn't like you but does want to be your friend. Sometimes its better to stay friends anyways.

Having a crush on someone for a long time doesn't make you a whore. This actually sounds quite a bit like something I went through. Though, I'm actually going to advise that you not to what I did. I used to have a crush on this guy I worked with, he found out about it, but never said one word on the subject to me. Just kept acting like the same dork he always was. I regret never finding the guts to bluntly ask him myself. And I regret it everyday. So, that is why I would suggest you ask him about it yourself. Even if he just wants to continue being your friend. At least you'll know and you won't have to keep thinking back on it, like me. x.x;;

It sounds like it's definitely not going to work and you should get over it. And that definitely doesn't make you anywhere near whoreish.

i dont think you actually know what the word whore means. tbh, it just sounds like youre purposely degrading yourself for god knows what reason and you just picked a random word. do yourself a favor and just refrain from doing that.

and he doesnt like you, just let it go if you want to stay friends with him.

thats my 2 cents at least.
