It will update once you get 1k in your bank for sure. :P

Mine didnt update til i have the achievement amount in the bank

so i only need to turn in 1000 items and then to turn in the humming crystals all a once? or how?

You can turn in the crystals at any time, but you won't get the achievement until you have 1000+ in your bank at once. ;3

is there tiers to this achievement or is this the only one as of right now??

There's a second tier for 2500 crystals.
