A month ago it seemed everything was below 1000sps! But now common and mundane items have really risen in the past week. Especially the food items.

Any explanation for this?

Hmmmm I can't think of any reason for it. Sometimes people stock up on cheap items though in case the recycle beast asks for them. Maybe someone went and bought everything they could find for under 1,000?

True true. I've been doing that as well.

I'm finding more and more wizard quests I can't do because of the increase. Hmm.

Thanks for replying!

it might have something to do with more people questing in the hopes of winning a pitcher to make into a glade potion...that would raise the demand for certain items, thus making the prices rise in user shops...

I think there was something about vending machines no longer giving out food items, so maybe that's why they've gone up. The prices seem to go up and down a lot though, so I guess that's just what's happening.

Not everything is up in price. Some things, especially Clothing Rack and Sole Train, are super cheap now. I went from the 15,000 to 25,000 Super Shop achievements by buying stuff from user shops for 100 sP or less (:

Edit:

I think part of the reason things may be more expensive is because people aren't restocking the really common items much anymore. The really common things that sit around in the shops all day, no one wants to buy and resell, because.. well, they sit around in the shops all day xD So the prices are going up in user shops because less users are putting them in shops.

That's my theory anyway ^_^

Food items no longer vend, and are used to feed pets, for the minions and in quests :)

Subeta's always had a pretty insane economy. The prices rise and fall at the drop of a hat.

Along with this, I find it interesting that Black Candy Bars are so expensive, or else not even in shops. I figure it has to do with the achievement, but still, those things were always so cheap.

Unless my shop search is being weird.

No, bluekit. It's like that for me as well. It makes me laugh 'cause I'm hoarding my black candy bars for the achievement as well and I only have 2!

Yeah I've noticed that... the only time I've seen this as normal... is if the recycle beast asks for an item and it was fairly cheap so it would be bought up and only the expensive ones remain.

But now... it's like every item MUST be over 5k .... it.. well guess it's just how things are. Oh well.

Maybe the people are trying to get that shop till achievement hence the pricing. But even if they don't do that they can still get that achievement in the long run.

I can understand why food might have gone up in price...what I'm not getting is the prices of common plushies and beanbags. 20-30k or more? Really? There's really no reason for that beyond people being greedy and not wanting to charge reasonable prices for them, unless everyone has suddenly forsaken Prize Get (I don't find collections a plausible excuse for them costing THAT much...).

But...I can't really complain about the slight rise in prices for commons...I like making a profit. I do try to go through and price things that seem overly inflated reasonably...just not while I have more than 2 pages to sell...too tedious...>.>. Better than having everything cost 500sp or under.

The price for food is going up because subetapets are getting hungrier.

The general price for commons is going up, after the market was flooded with them when the price for vending was dropped in half, because there are new items in the Recycle Shop.

Also, during Vesnali, Fragmentizing got me lots of Flowers, so I did a lot of it.

I certainly am guilty of buying up anything that is less than 1000 sP. The subetan economy is extremely volatile I have always done that because even if something isn't worth that much now, it pretty much will become worth that least that much eventually. IMO nothing in Subeta is worth less than that.

I suspect the prices for WT will finally increase as people start charging for their efforts and/or they become rarer as fewer quest will be completed. This will make it worth people's time to restock from official shops again.

I'm the same way, only my price limit is 100 sP... but I still have gotten thousands of items. Some I buy for 100 (or even 10) sP one day, and a few days later they're up to 5k. I also only buy things I can fragmentize later, so I try to avoid fishing prizes and Iku fruits... so the things I'm getting aren't even 'junk'.

Honestly, I don't really understand the jump in most prices though. Most days while I'm questing, I'll see an item I bought for 1k a few days ago, look it up, and it's around 15-20k! Without being a Recycle Beast item recently. So... I just don't know.

What I do know is... it's a great time to restock ;)

There are achievements for them, and it's been neglected by a lot of users lately. :)

Same here :P It's really easy to restock there too, the items don't sell very fast in those shops so you can even look up the price in user shops before you buy it if you want to make sure you make a profit.

I don't know. I've got plenty of shit in my shop under 1k. Food is pricier now because it doesn't vend, but I'm not a master restocker or anything and I still catch stuff in the food shop quite often.
