I've been working very long and hard on my Subeta characters. I know some people favor a few of them more than others, and I can tell because well... those characters get much, much more art.

Well, yesterday I decided to redesign my personal least favorite of them all. His name is Lumbar, and he works on Atebus. He's an angelic Darkonite. He looked like this: [link] But then yesterday I changed him to this: [link]

So, do you think the change is a good one?

As a side note: Yes, I know he looks like a Nazi. (Or so, I thought when I was done, and has been pointed out by more than one person. xD) I actually used Tom Cruise's hair from Valkyrie as a sort of reference. And although he is actually a scientist, he works alone and very secretive on a military base, so I felt that his attire better suits that now. I also realize he doesn't actually look like an angelic darkonite completely anymore. He's missing the facial spikes, and the chunk of hair that uncovers his brain. Also, his colors now were actually modeled somewhat after an angelic aeanoid instead.

Please feel free to add critique. Not on the art itself, but on the design please.

cute, love the colors!

I actually like his new design more, but then again I like military uniforms. I think the new one is more original than the other one though since it's not all "I'm a girly looking stuck up doctor guy yeah!!!!" That and it's not so obvious that he's an Angelic Darkonite, yet I can still tell he's one because of the little details.

He has a lot of buttons though. I was kind of like "woahwoahwaowaoah." Maybe take off some on his shoes or do one large button/broachishthingidk on each shoe?

I like the uniformy outfit better. I do like all the details and buttons and styles. It's cute.
