I recall seeing on someone's profile the... (struggling to recall the word here)... options? Like the play/pause button, the search bar, and the volume... and I could hear the music as well... but the video itself was nowhere in sight. Unless I was hallucinating or something :P

I can find the codes to hide the entire thing, but what's the code to hide only the actual video and not the options.. thingy?

From what I know, you just change the height to 25px. So maybe add this in the multimedia/media_player code [?] : height:25px;
