Okay, so. I'm around cuss words ALL the time. The kids at my school say them, and every single person in my family says them. I'm around them 24/7. Yet, if I we're to say them, I would get in trouble. And I see why I would get in trouble, thats understandable, but I'm around them every minute of every day. I mean, they're starting to rub off on me, you know. But, even thought I'm very tempted to say them, I don't. And its getting kind of annoying.

No...not really.

My parents swear. My brothers swear. Kids at my school swear. Hell, even I swear.

As long as you don't blatantly say them in front of an adult or teacher you'll be fine.

Most kids have to deal with having adults and their peers saying and doing things that they aren't allowed to do themselves. Life isn't fair, and it's going to keep on being like this until you die.

Best you get used to it.

Well, I guess that would /kind/ of get annoying. But I mean, just don't say them in front of your parents/teacher/adult and no one will ever know.

However, my mom swears, my friends swear, and I swear ALL the time. At school, my teachers don't care if we swear. (only the super strict principle cares)

By the way, you made a typo. ''But, even thought I'm very tempted to say them'' You mean ''even though...'' :P

... She can make a board about it if she wants. :/ It's not any different from the other topics on here.

And yeah. I'm allowed to swear because daddy dearest does. My mom doesn't swear though. She was raised by strict parents.

Whereas my dad's parents were fucking mean to him. :c

I think the key is having a sense for which people you can swear around. For instance, I tend to swear a lot (since I don't see the point of words that are vulgar or forbidden), but I don't swear in front of my grandparents. I can swear in front of my parents, though, since they're cool, and pretty much all of my friends. I try not to swear around little kids, since they haven't had much exposure and their parents might thing swearing is bad mmkay.

I dislike swearing in general. I can't even swear anymore without wincing, unless I'm joking.

They sound dirty and uncouth out of anyone's mouth. I think being around stupid teenagers throwing around the F-bomb whenever possible has effectively turned me off of them.

I think its just in the place and time. Sometimes when you're really emotional about something, a cuss word is the only real word to describe what you're feeling.

However I would substitute the F-word for "Freaking" if you're in front of a person who's not comfortable with you swearing.

If you're talking to someone who you need to respect, just drop the adjective alltogether.

My mother and I swear in front of each other all the time, yet I can't do it in front of Dad because I'm still his "little girl" I guess :/ It gets a bit frusterating, I know.

Timing, timing, timing....
