basically i used to go out with this guy more than half a year ago now and it's not that i still like him, i really don't, really i almost hate him. but then it's like i want him to like me, he's always the first person i notice when i walk in to a room and i get butterflies in my stomach when i talk to him but i hate who he is as a person now

yep VERY annoying is there anyway to get rid of it? (you know apart from killing the guy)
Try talking to him and telling him how you feel.

i suppose i think it might be because we were such great friends before we went out we told each other everything then he turned into a jerk after we stopped going out and we lost the friendship i don't talk to him much know but he's always there if that make's sence because we have the same friends no matter were i am he is too

Yes. It has happened to all my exes. I was still in love with him, but I didn't like them. I'm pretty sure you can guess what happened, since they are my exes. In my opinion, it takes much more to be in a relationship than just loving the person. You should be best friends with the person your with.
