Hi, my name is Tammie and I'm new here at Subeta. I have been a member of Neopets for six years, when one of my neofriend, who is an everydayer, hadn't logged on in a while.

When he finally popped up I asked him where he had been and he told me about his place. I was a little skeptical at first because I thought, "What could be better than neopets?" O.o

So after about three weeks, he finally convinced me to sign up. I can't say if I like it better or not, I'm still new, but I like that it has a different feel to it.

I like the fact that though Neopets evolves around the games, that Subeta evolves around the quest. . . I don't know, maybe that's the shopaholic in me. =D

Anyway, I haven't gotten used to the different worlds yet, so when I'm trying to find something, I have to click on each and every one of them. I'm tempted to bookmark the places I know I will go to often, so I don't even have to remember, but that sounds kind of lazy. lol

In closing, I've enjoyed my time here so far and I look forward to making new friends. =D

Welcome. :D You'll find the community here to be more mature and open-minded than at Neo, and we're encouraged to discuss serious real-life issues instead of pretending they don't exist. You'll also be surprised at how much easier it is to earn sP than Neopoints once you get the hang of the site's rhythm. ;D

Hello, Tammie! You've accomplished in about two days, about twenty times as much as what I've managed in a little over a week. 0.o;; Other than that, we're in the same boat! <3 I think. xD

Welcome aboard, Tammie! Just to parrot what the other wonderful players already said, but once you've been here for a month or so, you'll feel like part of a wonderful online family (believe me, I'm also a Neo refugee, and I don't regret being here for almost two years). The freedom of writing practically anything you want on the forums, within reason, is one of the things that drew me here. The staff is very tolerant of what is said and extremely helpful when you need to know something (not that other players can't do the same thing...they're just as knowledgeable as the staff members); the owner, Keith, is someone who is real and not just a name (his "Keith Answers!" sessions are worth watching); sP is easily gained, and easily lost kicks Chase and his sP-draining quests The pets' colors are unique and more professional-looking than Neo's art; items' prices are usually very reasonable, and if a item is hard to buy, users are more than willing to haggle the prices. You have a customizable HA for every season, every second of the day (providing that you don't ever sleep wink), and you'll find that the layout is very navigation-savvy, not at all like Neo's layout revamp.

Overall, you'll definitely feel more at home here than the feelings Neo could ever provide!

I'm not so much a refugee from Neo, as I still hang out over there occasionally . . . I'm kind of addicted to their stock market, but I love Subeta. Its so much easier (as everyone has said) to make sP than it is to make np, which means you actually have a chance of accomplishing your goals . . . Plus, I like that over here you actually have plots and things to do on the site instead of same old same old (which gets, well, old after a while:P). Welcome aboard! I'm sure you'll like it here!
