I'm planning on buying Diamand/Pearl or Platinum. I want to know which one is better in different ways to you so I can make a choice. Platinum seems pretty cool from the commercials, but some people are talking about odd sprites which I understand I have seen them. Anyways can someone help?

Platinum is exactly like Diamond/Pearl but with added features like the Battle Frontier. You should get Platinum, no question.

I think you should get Platinum, definitely. It's got lots of things that Diamond and Pearl don't have, and it's just a better choice if you're going for one of the three. Of course, I'm a collector so I intend on having every single Pokémon game someday, so... lol.

Platinum is better since it has the Battle Frontier and you can fight more people (like the Gym Leaders and people on Pokemon Center) And the sprites are not that bad after all.

I get what you mean. Some people are just saying up here that some sprites are losing shading or moving into odd positions. I like them though kind of funny sometimes.

Pokémon shouldn't be the kind of game you'd be getting for the graphics.

Get Platinum. It's very fun :)

Platinum is a very nice slightly touched up version of Diamond/Pearl, so naturally you should get that one :D
