How unfair is this? I won the Potion Lottery a long time ago - and I have the damn trophy to prove it. I thought, okay cool, I'll just click on my trophy and get the new achievement. WRONG.
In order to get the achievement, it seems that you have to win the Potion Lottery again. ARGH. tears hair

It's unfortunate the achievements don't count what you've already accomplished.
It's not like winning the potion lottery was easy in the first place.. I'm sure it was hard enough the first time.

I know how you feel. XD; I've cracked the safe two or three times already but haven't been able to since that achievement came out.
Oh well. Something to aim for, I guess. Good news is, if you manage to win it again, you get another potion. :)
Yup, it's annoying all right. Now I have to hope that lightning will strike a 4th time for me to get that Achievement.

For a moment, I was expecting this to be a topic about mean staff members winning the potion lottery.
But yes, I thought it was retroactive as well, when I first heard about it. I never won it prior to the achievement, so either way, it didn't truly matter to me.
However, the potion lottery is a KICKASS money drain. :)
The way I see it, you still have the same chance at winning the lottery than you did the first time. It's like what my mum said about the lottery. She said that, because a man won the national lottery in our town, we'd never ever win it since someone from our town had already won it. I was like, astounded at her logic. It's completely random. So it doesn't matter if you'd won it previously. Keep playing the Potion Lottery. If you've won it before, chances are you'll win it again eventually AND get a nice new achievement :)
