I know I'm not a guy, so this probably won't mean much, but don't dumb yourself down into one of those idiotic giggly girls. I'm assuming this is why girls do it, because I can't imagine why else, but... don't. :(

oh, no. i don't dumb myself down at all. trust me -- i've had plenty of those talks with my mom, haha.

i'm a girl. :) i like to compliment guys. like their haircut. or their shoes.

not like that. if we're just talking or something, just bring it up casually. :) i am also very quiet, but i smile and try to flirt with my eyes. :) not over talkative or giggly. egh.

In any situation like that, whether it's with a guy or a girl, I'd want that person to be completely honest, and I'd want them to stay true to who they are. Honesty is a very good quality. I guess it also depends on what kind of guy we're talking about... if he's shy or doesn't seem like the type to be mushy, he might flinch if you go overboard with compliments, but simply telling a guy you like how he looks or you like something about him would always be a good thing, I'm sure. I personally don't like girls (or guys) to be overly clingy, but I don't want them to be completely closed off either... I like to know what's going on in someone's mind about me. Just don't get obsessive with it. I unfortunately have a bad habit of doing that from time to time. ._. Hahaha.

I personally prefer honesty. I can't count the number of times I've noticed chicks trying WAY to hard to be noticed. It's kind of annoying... But, at any rate, I advise being yourself. (Yes, I DO know that's very unoriginal.)

I'm a girl, and I always try and be really nice and sort of but not too social around cute guys. Like, I'll walk up, say hi, and try and start a small conversation. Thing is, at my school, all of the guys are either really ugly, really nerdy, really preppy, or just plain douche-bags. xD

i love how more than half the people that have answered are females, when you specifically asked for males. C: but then again, the relationships forum is crowded with girls. go figure why! i'm interested to see what kinds of answers you're gonna be getting though xD
