Yeah. we have family friends who have lots of rabbits, and we were able to pass the little guy/girl to them, because they have helped raise rabbits until they were wold enough to fend for themselves before.
Well today I spotted a little baby bird in the /road/. I scooped him up, and he's so little. D: He's hardly even got fuzz on him, and there was no nest or mama bird anywhere! So after about half an hour of him sitting in my hands crying for food I came home with him and fed him.
Dx WHY ARE ALL THESE CUTE BBY ANIMALS NEEDING HALP?
[edit]
This is the bird:

Any ideas what kind it is? :/
It's that time of year. Baby critters are born, and bad things sometimes happen to the adults that were taking care of them.
Good luck with the teeny little bird :(
it's hard hard to raise abandoned birds, good luck with that.
Dankies. I tried to get him warm and comfy after I fed him, and in about half an hour I'm supposed to feed him a bit more. I dun know what kind of bird he is though, so I'm hoping he's gonna be ok with what I'm giving him. (teensy bites of smooth wet kittyfood. I know it's bad, but my mom isn't gonna let me spend money on anything else, so if he can't live off that he's gonna die.)
Maybe you attract cute animalsO.o Animal magnetismXD
OMG AWW. ❤
My mom found a kitten the other day. It was ferrel (I know I spelled that wrong and spellcheck is being a bitch) so it kept hissing at me, but the hiss was so tiny it was like no sound came out at all. ;D
It's not cute right now. I put a picture of it up in the first post. xD
AH DEAR GOD YOU SCARED ME. ):
next time warn b4 scary birds plz.
ANYWAY, that's pretty cool. You're so sweet, taking in all the animals and helping them. Karma will love you one day~
Awoh, how sweet!
As a forewarning though, be really careful... It's common in baby birds to suffocate on their own food, be it in the wild or otherwise. :/ Personal experience... It broke my heart.
As too type... I've found a baby black bird that looked similar to that, but... what type of birds are common to your area?
Oh wow, is there anything that can be done to prevent that? And we have robins and crows mostly.
I'm not sure, honestly. I suppose you just have to be very careful and look for signs of it.
..Aww, then it's probably a baby robin.
Awr the little thing will be cute. So teeny.
Be careful w/ it... and I'd have to agree, my limited birdie knowledge says Robin.
Good luck with the teeny thing.
collecting Well hopefully he'll live and I'll find out what he is. Dx
just finished feeding some more
If I rub a bit of paper together it makes noise and he thinks his momma is here to feed him, and I just drop some food in his mouth and he eats.
.... I'll get right on throwing up worms. Dx
lol ew it looks like something that i sneeze up when i have a cold.
