So, my friend told me that some people were picking on her the other day. And I mean, not just anyone, though she has told me about other people before, but her ex-best friend. And I mean, don't get me wrong, ex-BFFs have a tendency to be mean to each other, but she just took it too far.
So my friend was in science working on a project. (I'm a grade higher, so I know the project, what you do, how to do it, and all that stuff) And my friend has some really good ideas up in her noggin that are definitely worth listening to. But her ex and her exes friend's didn't think so.
See, one of the girls, Shantel or something like that, was sitting with her big butt close to the bridge they were making. (out of straws and spaghetti and tape). So my friend tells her she whould move her 'big butt' so she doesn't smash the project.
So that bitch, Shantel, says 'MY big butt? Ever look in the mirror? God you're stupid'
And my friend's ex, Amanda, just laughed and agreed.
And... God. Amanda. I'm really sorry to say this, and I know this will get people to thinking I make fun of fat people, but GOD. She's like a freaking gorilla. And my god, my friend has NOTHING compared to that beast. God it frustates me.
So I want to make her life living hell when she gets to High school. Nobody messes with my best friend, and I don't say that lightly. I can't stand to see her upset when some GORILLA makes fun of HER weight.
Jesus. Sorry for ranting. It just pisses me off beyond control when things like this happen.
Anyone else been frustrated at people lately?
Wah, wah, wah. I don't know why you're getting so pissy saying you're going to ruin her life on account of what your friend started.
Well it was kind of your friend's fault for telling the other girl she had a big butt, I mean how did she think the girl was going to react?
They're all immature and at fault, the way I see it. :/
Freck- Well, they shouldn't get so pissed over a big butt. Hell, I take things like that in good stride. And, I mean, my friend was just trying to save the project they were doing, that, because they excluded her from it, they failed. I want to make her life hell because she stepped over the line in calling my friend fat and made her day miserable.
Spook- I guess that's true, but I mean, using her weight against her like that? If someone said I had a big butt, I wouldn't turn and call them fat, I'd TAKE IT IN GOOD STRIDE. Maybe she didn't mean it offensively and was just joking around? Then what? And calling her stupid because she was trying to help? It pisses me off.
I don't really see how saying someone has a big butt is an insult. Most girls take that as a compliment.
But anywho, I agree with . Your friend could have just said, "Could you please move so you don't sit on the project?" If she said it in a mature way, I'm sure Shantel would have moved away from the project. Don't start shit with Shantel just because your friend can't word things correctly. :/
So she echoed what your friend said to her and now you feel bad for your friend? Lame.
you're giving that girl just what she gave your friends. sticking up for a friend =/= being a hypocrite.
Alright, I have a suggestion. You can disregard it if you like, but I'd rather you read it, at least.
Don't start hunting for this Shantel girl when she gets into high school. I'm assuming you're in 9th grade right now and she's in 8th, but I dunno, some school systems are different (or I'm completely misunderstanding the grades here). If you do, she might start becoming more aggressive towards your friend, or she might get her other friends to pick on your friend, OR she might even report you to a teacher or administrator, and I'm sure you don't want that going on. Unless you do--then do whatever.
I advise sticking close to your friend if you're one of those 'watchdog' sort of friends that likes to know what's going on. Walk with her, or whatever you need to do, and ask her how everything is going. Perhaps Amanda and Shantel will forget all about this incident by high school and leave her alone, but who knows. Also, she was probably acting in self-defense; many girls that aren't in highschool yet have harder times taking a joke, if even a sarcastic comment, and will snap back without a second thought most of the time. Not everybody is thoughtful and considers the impact of their words before they speak. :{
