So I'm going to be at an artists table at a convention coming up here, and I'm gonna be making some bookmarks.

So far, I've decided that I'm doing a Sora/Roxas one and a Jack Sparrow one.

What would people BUY is what I'm asking. Do you like Hetalia? Naruto? (I'm not doing twilight. lol -shoots self-) HARRY POTTER?

I don't know, just post..tell me what you think would sell?

I'd buy it with something Bleach related :3 Just cause... I'm obsessed... xD If you do want something Bleachy, the must-dos are Grimmjow, Ulquiorra, Toshiro, Byakuya, Ichigo, and Rukia. Those are all links if you didn't know. I'm just throwing out the characters with the largest fanbases. Too bad my favorite character has a tiny fanbase. 8c Actually I think that's a good thing xD

If your out to get money, do all the basics. Naruto, Bleach, and One piece. Then if you want to expand a little further do Code Geass(This has been very popular for some reason. I hate it. CODE GAYASS.) and Death Note.

But I don't know anything about Reborn. To someone who IS, who do you think is the most popular character? x:

Harry Potter, obviously, Lord of the Rings, and other pretty popular books, you could do something on the Sister Hood of the Traveling Pants...There are a lot of "cults" around those teen-books. Don't forget just misc drawings. There are lots of book marks on popular books, but none of just your art...

Haha, for KHR, Hibari is pretty popular too. With his leetle hibirds.

But like, stuff other than fanart's cool too. u Cute things would sell best.

I'm not a fan of Hetalia, but if you want to milk it and make some money, I'd suggest you make bookmarks of the characters from it.

Soul Eater is getting pretty popular, so I'm sure Death the Kid bookmarks would sell. I'd like to see some original designs myself. Good luck selling whichever designs you go with though.

Reborn! (Full name is Katekyou Hitman Reborn!) is a good bet; it's becoming more popular and I see more dArtists' art of them in anything (charms, bookmarks, stickers...) so yeah. :D You can go with Hibari or Mukuro. :) I also like Squalo since people seem to like him too. Trout. ;3

Naruto. Well, it is still popular, so you could get a good deal.

I would advise that you watermark your works related to cons because people could steal them and color them in or anything and then sell them away. :C

If you want money, draw characters from Bleach and Naruto. Then Vocaloid characters. I cannot believe it wasn't mentioned yet xD Hetalia is a definite good bet because it's realllly popular. KHR too.

I guess I'll definately be doing some bleach @ I've had some outside suggestions for Soul Eater too (pff and Hetalia) But so far only one has mentioned Code Geass

... XD Cheshire cat. Most people would buy those because.... that's one cool cat. Also, other Alice in Wonderlands characters, like the Mad Hatter. But Definitely... The Cheshire Cat. If you can do those at conventions. .... And I'm almost positive you can. XD

I'd personally like a bookmark that utilizes the shape/etc of itself in a creative way, rather than just OOO PRETTY DRAWIN ON A RECTANGLE Not that those aren't good... XD;

Akuda, I plan on trying to make some with cool shapes/cut out in an interesting fashion to give it a 3-D affect!

OURAN. Ouran is supremely popular. xD If I go to a con, I like buy everything Ouran related. Do... Hikaru in his Cheshire cat form :3 Like them in that one episode... Haruhi in wonderland... yeah... xD

hahaha Roar, I heard about tite kubo. The sad thing is I was visiting family that week in Cali and couldn't go to COMICON, I was severely saddened

i dunno if i'll do DN, considering there's a lot of competition involving merchandise for it. Although, I mighhht do Ouran, maybe.
