In History we are learning about Hitler, so today my class all sat down, and on the board was 'To learn about the new school rules.' We were all like 'New school rules...? what the...?' Mrs Askew (our history teacher) then showed us a powerpoint presentation about the new school rules. She said that all these changes were going to happen in June, and that it is going to affect all the schools in the UK. She showed us the slides, and then told us that school will start at 8am sharp, and we'll have to do an hour of excercise, the boys will have the choice out of rowing, boxing and running. And the girls will have to do dance. Then she said that Religious Education will be stopped but we'll have to go to church every day for an hour. And she said that Computer work will be stopped, and History will be called Heritage. She carried on and said that school will end at 3:35pm (normal time), and we'll have to join a youth club out of school. And the boys will have to take up farming, and girls would have to take up Childcare, and mock religions are banned, and if someone has a mock religion then students have to tell the school authorites, and if you didn't tuck your shirt into your trousers then you would have to go into camp. And also, she said you would have to have your nose measured, and if it was too big you would have to have a DNA check.

Of course the whole class was like 'THEY CAN'T DO THAT!! IS THIS A JOKE?!' Going mad xD

And then Mrs Askew said to us 'Of course this is the joke, these are the school rules that Hitler brought into schools...' But of course she added some parts to make it realistic...

That's exactly what my History teacher did to his lower set kids o-O Must be a common thing to do when teaching younger kids about Hitler... And he was saying to us "I was a little scared because some of them were about to start a riot" Heh.

Yeah...we were shouting and about to riot ;__; History teachers are cruel.

Haha, I love lessons like that XD Back in highschool, my US History teacher had my entire class convinced that the first robot used in warfare was "Boiler Man" in World War I and he even had a picture of Teddy Roosevelt standing next to him. We honestly believed him. Then, when we took our exam, he told us giving stickers to students beforehand was proven to boost exam performance. We believed him, then, too. And we were 11th graders, haha.

Since then, I take every thing that man says with a grain of salt.

Last year, in 11th grade, we learned about the Bay of Pigs. Our teacher told us it was called that because of the amount of swine farms close to the bay. He also said that when they fought the battle all the pigs died and their corpses could be seen from the sky floating in the water.

Of course I believed him.

Lol at all the history teacher stories xD I asked my friend (who also has Mrs Askew for history) if they had the same slideshow, and she said yeah and that the class got that it was a joke by the second slide.

History has to be one of the best classes to teach. You get to have so much fun, and the kids love you. History is really one of the only courses you really can do anything with :P

my history teacher did something like that. He said that anyone getting an A in his class (which was me) could leave and go do something else. anyone with grades below an A- had to stay in his room for the rest of the day.
