I work as a personal maid.
I only work when people want me to. I don't have any steady clients because of the economy. Most of my jobs are vile "first cleans" for which I swear these people have literally NEVER cleaned their house/apartment before but I don't get paid any more. People accuse me of stealing. People think it's my job to pick up their nasty undies. People think it's my job to pay their garbage bill. Half the time they decide not to pay me anyway.
I can probably think of more.
I started yesterday and I'm already a tad horrified at the people. I'm working asa cashier.
Some people have no teeth. Some come without shoes on. This fat old guy came in a too-tight white tee and his boxers. Some creepy worker who came in for a plate lunch hit on me while I was bagging the groceries.
...-shakes head-
That's sooo weird. When I was younger I used to deliver newspapers and lately I've been having dreams that the person who took the route over started telling me to do them again... so in my dream I'd be doing them not really having a clue who gets them anymore 0.0 and at the end of the dream I'm always complaining I'm never doing them again.
Your job just made me think of it lol
Worst part would probably be douchebags who think I'm ripping them off and get all bitchy! even though I am.

I'm an accountant.. what sucks about my job is that I have about 1-2 hrs of work a day and have to stretch it into 8 without dying of boredom and falling asleep on my desk.
I'm a cashier. A voluntary one working for charity, meaning I don't get paid. Some of the customers are horrible and say nasty things, argue etc. Then we get donations of second hand goods and some of the donations are disgusting. Like, we got a bag of clothes but it had been trailed through dog shit and we got it all over the shop. Another one had cat piss over it. We've had underwear that people have pissed in and hadn't bothered to wash, we get used dentures, we get bags of household rubbish...the lot.
I work with a children's summer program.
Bad parts: Parents who forget to bag lunch for their children and get mad at me. Parents, in general Temper tantrums. "He hit me so I hit him back and then he hit me again" Lack of bathroom hygiene (I'll let you use your imagination on that one) After-lunch gas attacks Picked scabs and bruises that are believed to require "serious" attention
It's not a horrible job, but it requires a lot of patience.

I have a one-man company doing transcription of research interviews for university and text editing/translations.
work from home don't have to deal with people (mostly) I decide my own salary :P lots of work
pain in the neck uni people juggling this shit+my own studies NO TIME EVER company taxes a million levels of bureaucracy involved in everything no fixed pay frustrating and complicated rules and surprise fees and shit.
THEY CAN'T BREAK YOU IF YOU DON'T HAVE A SPINE
well, i work as a computer lab assistant at my school and it pretty much rocks because i can sit here all day and do whatever. but i'm not allowed to leave for more than five minutes so i have to find ways to get at least a little physical activity in. not that i'm an athelete or anything :P it's just no movement for 5 hours = maaajor cramps x_x; and i can't do DDR or anything because i'm supposed to be quiet and people will think i'm a loony lol then people never log out even though there's a huge sign on the white board and signs all over the walls. and then they go erase my white board that i worked hard on D: (and yes it's the students and not the janitors, i've seen them do it >_> ) but i am very glad that i have this job
Well, I'm a college student.
So I guess the fact that I'm paying them to do work
I'm a manager of a clothing store.
Evil customers, crazy customers, and complaints of sales associates about the customers :)
I mentioned the customers can be evil, right?
And yes their are some good customers, but some days their are far too few of the good kind and to many of the bad kind.
I work with the public and it seems that for every nice person we see there is one that's not so nice. I've had people shout at me because they have broken their glasses (sitting on them is not a good idea) and I won't give them another pair for free because they have already used their voucher entitlement. I hate it when people don't bother to clean their glasses, so they are covered in green-person-oil-goo-stuff and I need to fix them. Some of them make me gag.
However, some of the people who come in are lovely and the people I work with are fab, so it's not all bad.
I work at a stable.
-Bratty horses. -Dumb people who think they know what they're doing. -Flies. -Poop. -Heavy lifting.
The good stuff totally outweighs the bad though. (:
Leaving XD
I love my job, the people are great, my coworkers are amazingly awesome and I get a bit of a work out too. I work at a wholesale club, so I'm lifting huge things of water and other stuff like that... because people are stupid and don't realize that I have a scan gun that I can use and let them leave huge things of kitty litter in the basket ._.
Oh, but I hate it when people think it's my job to rip out coupons. This couple came in and gave me this sheet of coupons... and I had to tear out the ones they wanted, while keeping the other ones off the scanner so they didn't get extra money off... idiots.
I work for the same company my dad does, so I'm basically his underling, putting ridiculously tiny parts on ridiculously tiny circuit boards o___- It's not too difficult, just very tedious, especially when there are piles and piles of them. My fingertips are always sore when I'm done, lul x[
Gotta be listening to a baby scream ALL day long, oh and the hair pulling. Oh yea and recleaning something I just finished cleaning because he decided its cool to throw stuff on the floor
I'm a stable-girrrrl.
I like tacking up the ponies for little, little kids and leading them around for their first time. I like horses too except for the one that tramples me.
I don't have a job... yet. So nothing sucks...yet.
Guest Services Representative in a video store.
-People bitching about late fees then refusing to pay them -People so stupid they don't get what I'm trying to tell them even though I say it slowly and simply -People that complain I'm too slow or I don't smile enough -People who complain about the price of new rentals/video games -People who come in just to buy movies and expect to get this '50% off' deal we have even though our posters say that's specifically for our members on this program we have -People who come in just to buy candy but bitch about it anyway -People who talk like I don't exist and I'm not standing three feet from them -People who call the store but have a wrong number and then bitch at me thinking it's my fault
All in all, it has to do with people, just because I work with them every night. I realize that for the most part humanity is cool, but some people are just plain bitchy.
I work retail
but most of the time i don't mind work because usually the niceness in work compensates for the crazywhores. or guys who come in to try hit on people. WE DONT SELL MENS SHOES D: but yeah ^__^ my manager's a sweet so it's awesome ❤️
