Someone tried the 'sp in the message box' trick with me. I commented them about it and my message got deleted.

So yeah, heads up to you traders out there. I haven't had someone play this on me in a long, long time :P

SP in the message box? Sounds dumb, whatever it is. I really cannot understand why someone would scam. Don't they have any shame? And do they really think people are that stupid?

Eh, I guess they think stealing is easier than making sp.

Basically, they type out the amount in the message where you can go like 'Hi!' and leave the actual box to offer sp blank so it looks like they offered. I remember when the sp section wasn't magnified so people could have been tricked more easily compared to now with the teeny message font and giant sp font.

The only time someone tried to scam me was when they wrongfully inflated items in order to try to get me to trade with them.

Yeah, I've had the inflated item one too. I blocked two people who kept doing it to me.

There is a user notorious for that here. Very upsetting when it happens. Always make sure your checking the amount of sp's offered. It has happened to me, and at that time I was told that there was nothing staff could do because I accepted the offer. It seems as though that might have changed.

That is such bullshit that people still try this dumb scam. I hate scammers and want them all to go DIAF. D:

Good thing I always double and sometimes triple check my trades before accepting them. Even going as far to make sure I priced it correctly, so people won't play upon my mistakes.

And yeha, it's really surprising to see a scammer on subeta. A false-inflater, I can understand and thanks to the Item Directory Building, can avoid. Sorry you had to experience that.

I had someone do that to me yesterday with the new TS item. By the time I clicked their username to leave a bitchy comment they were already frozen.
