Today is my last day in high school, and I'm uber sad. :-( After third hour we are supposed to leave.. but I just want to hold on to a post and refuse to go.
What was it like when you graduated high school, if you have?
I was soooo happy to leave! I burnt all my uniform after aswell xD I went to a really small school tho (20 people) and only got along with one of them so it sucked pretty bad.
I admit, I was pretty sad. When you spend 4 years of your life at an institution, it's hard not to get attached. But, then, I was completely elated, as well. I don't know, the true sadness didn't kick in for me until about a week before I left for college. Then, it was like "OH SHIT. I'm leaving." It was a pretty emotional week, for sure.

im a sophomore so i wont know for 2 years but im sad that this years groups of seniors are leaving because they are so nice! Freshman year sucked for me and then i met a senior who showed me the ropes. I will forver be thankful to her.
good luck in college (if ur going)
Working on filled wardrobe achievement. Almost at 12k!
I remember my graduation. In the weeks leading up to it, we were sequestered away from everyone else and did graduation practice stuff after the state testing (which was a 90 minute writing thing as far as seniors were concerned).
And on the day of, we practiced right up until the bell that released people from sixth period to go home. That night, oh my god everyone was crying from the manliest ball player to the uber girly-girl by the time they played "Livin' on a Prayer" (my senior class's class song) and let us out.
I was happy? I mean, the people you like you can keep in contact with, and you won't have to see any of the other loserfaces ever again (or so you hope :P I got the worst in the bunch on my uni course last year, woooo).
THEY CAN'T BREAK YOU IF YOU DON'T HAVE A SPINE
I was ecstatic. I've always hated school and we only had about 60 people in my graduating class(drama, everyone in your business). The teachers were a joke and most of the classes you didn't do anything but sit and talk. Like , I got stuck with some of the assholes again in my college classes.
I couldn't get out fast enough. I'm lucky I didn't rip the bottom of my car out on the speed bumps. But congrats on graduating. Its one of the best feelings in the world
I haven't graduated -yet- (my last day is next Friday and the actual ceremony is June 12) but I CANNOT WAIT TO GET OUT OF HERE. It can't happen soon enough. D:
I was kind of sad. Seemed like my senior year went by so fast.. I didn't get to enjoy being on the top for very long. My last year was the best too because my classes were mostly electives and I had plenty of time to goof around with out worrying too much about extreme failure. My last day was miserable though...a couple of jerks ruined it for me.
Our grad was awesome, but then I had an awesome class. Every graduation from our high school had to have a theme, and since everyone in my grade had somehow spontaneously decided that "Come Sail Away" by Styx had to be our grad song, we chose a nautical theme. The rest of our music was retro too, like "Don't Stop" by Fleetwood Mac, we had a blast. We did a slide show of our baby pictures next to our grad photos, there were in-jokes everywhere, and Jeff, our valedictorian, had a speech consisting of all the things everyone had to endure at our school at least once (like falling up the main stairway and getting an essay with "CHEESE" written in the margins by a specific teacher) and quotes from the Simpsons. It was beyond perfect.
I've stayed in touch with nearly every single one of my friends, we still go out randomly when we're all home from school or visiting our old home town. It's been five years, I actually graduate university this year...but I won't be going. The class is over 1,000 kids, and since I came back for an honours degree, all my friends graduated last year and are long gone. Still, at least I had a rockin' high school grad :P
