Not strange at all. Facebook is successful, MySpace doesn't want to lose their users, so they do what Facebook is doing.

The only reason I personally prefer MySpace is because I hate that Facebook forces you to show your full name. Yes, that is the only reason I do not use Facebook. And I know I can use a fake name, but then no one can find me D:

there are just no perks, imo, that facebook has that is better than myspace.

I've never used myspace, so my opinion is biased. Most people I know only use facebook or bebo. So eh. -shrugs- I like facebook better. ;D

Facebook is a lot easier to handle than myspace although I have an account on both. Personally I've never used the myspace IM, never felt like using it and I don't go on enough to use it anyway.

Personally the only reason I use either site is because chances are that if I didn't I'd have lost contact with a bunch of my high school friends if I didn't.. since a lot of them, the e-mails I have are obselete and no longer in use by them.

Both my myspace and facebook though are set to private though and I only accept people I know in real life.

i tried to get into the whole social networking shit and it never stuck to me, i ended up forgetting and abandoning myspace accounts. i tried bebo, which is lulz cuz it's like some cheap ass version of myspace and the mods are almost non existent.

To be honest I personally think FB sucks. I've had a MS since 2004 and I love that we can be creative, and on FB everything looks the same. I think it is crap though that now MS is getting all the applications because I hating them on FB and now MS has them. UGH.

FB is easier to use and you can set things to private and can even turn off the search feature. Maybe its just me, but myspace has too many bulletin surveys where people on facebook actually talk and have conversations. Myspace is slowly dying, people who were once active there are now on FB. The only reason I have one is because I still have friends who refuse to use FB for whatever reason.
