I get very upset when you offer on a trade and the person is on line, you send mail and a comment to tell them you offered. No Response. you wait and then BOOM. there off line. In many cases i will cancel because i refuse to keep my money tied up when they don't even have the courtesy to reply or check there new trades before they get off line.
My subeta status shows me online as long as I have firefox open, so they might not be on subeta when you make the offer.
are you sure they were actually online? Most people will reply if they are online.
Sometimes the trades say the person is online but they're gone for 20 minutes.
What I dislike actually, is people like you that keep withdrawing because they can't wait a few hours

Same for me, you can't always assume they have Subeta open. Or even better yet, at the end of the day at work I just close my browser and shut down my computer. My thought-process is "well, hopefully someone will get back to me today," instead of "omg it's been 30 minutes, where are they?!" You have to give people time, we all have lives and if you REALLY want that item, you should be prepared to wait (unless of course there are multiples for that price) especially for good sales.
When I am online I respond immediately (if I'm not on the forums) I have a habit of opening all of the threads I want to read at the same time in different tabs and it sometimes takes a while to go through them.
I also want to say that it does annoy me to no end when people withdraw because they can't wait. I also don't contact those people after they have canceled to see if they want to re offer as far as I'm concerned they can find another seller.
:| What, I can't take a bit of time to go have a meal/go to the bathroom/clean the house because I ongz have2be thurr and react in 0.2 seconds whenever someone decides to offer? And then the 'buyer' gets snippy with me when I ask them to re-offer and I don't accept the second they offered because 'I was too slow'?
Screw that. That and idiots offering junk on my trades are the main reasons why I've resorted to selling everything in my shop.
thats funny, ha ha. i have my firefox open and it does not show me on line. So i guess spirAlex i won't be offering on any of your trades or you mine. If you have a trade you need to take 1 minute before you get off line and check them. I am not talking about withdrawing right away, i am talking about several hours later. i am smart enough to know people have other things to do, so don't assume i am an idiot i am far from it. i will not keep MILLIONS of sp tied up for 24 hours.
Not calling you an idiot, just stating that if you don't have the patience for trades, maybe you should avoid them and stick to shops instead. That way, you don't have to wait for anyone to get online and you won't tick anyone off.
Last night it took a full ten minutes for my friend's offer to show up as an event. That's plenty of time for someone to log off without realizing there's been an offer.
There are also dozens of times when I come, refresh random, and head off again because I am busy with other things and don't have time to consider the offers coming through on my trades. Or maybe it's an offer I'm not sure I want, but am considering it. That takes time, too. If someone actually wants the item, they'll have the patience to wait until I can really look at their offer - besides, they deserve that I take the time to fully consider it.
When people have an attitude like you've shown yours to be, I am more than willing to wait for a more considerate buyer to come along. What do I care if my item sells today or tomorrow? They're the person who wants the item.
Wait until you have a 2 year old to take care of :P

Gismoe - there are a few things to consider before you spontaneously combust!
There is a new event system - and new things on Subeta can be really buggy.
The new events are also on the right hand side of the screen - I personally can't see mine and when I do have an event the scrollbar on the bottom of the screen doesnt change to indicate that I have events there.
There is also the possibility that the event doesnt show up.

I noticed how sometimes it says people are still online while they are offline too. Don't get upset if people don't answer right away. I dislike people offering and withdrawing before I get back online (we can't all be online all the time, the servers would definately don't want us to :))
