Wake Me Up When September Ends could be about a father who has died and his child is grieving, saying that he'll never forget his father.

I pick Thunder by Boys Like Girls.

Thunder : I'm guessing its about a boy who's in love with a girl but finds it difficult to decode her; find out what she's really about. I'm guessing the girl doesn't love him back or she has some serious problems and he just wants to help her? LOL, suck at this haha. :)
