First off, love the series even if people think he 'stole' ideas from other books. I don't see it, but perhaps that is just me.

Howevever, out of the three so far, Eldest is my personal favorite. Brisingr just seemed to move too quickly and all of sudden Arya, who was once stand-offish and reserved around Eragon is suddenly happy go lucky and spilling her life story with the guy. It just seemed... odd.

I don&;t want to wait for another when I thought I was DONE.

So did I. D: I kept on thinking how the book was gonna end, especially when I only had a few pages left to read and it didn't seem to be close to a conclusion yet. Then BAM! I got to the last page and it said there was a fourth installment. GAH.

Even though the whole story isn't the most original, I did enjoy reading it, too. :P

I enjoyed it as well, though Eldest was by far my favourite. Brisingr, I only enjoyed because of the different points of views. I liked reading from Nasuada and Roran's POVs for a change- Eragon can get annoying after a while. XD Also, that part with the dwarven council was cool.

Sure, there are some mistakes, technicalities that just could not work, but I suppose I'm willing to overlook that (shoves her inner nitpick away). The one thing I hated was the last few chapters. They were so ... I dunno, confusing? I've read them, and re-read them, and still get lost in the middle between Oromis and Glaedr and then Eragon and Arya.

But yeah, go Paolini! Give us another one already!

I Was Seriously Ecstatic When I Learnt It Was Going To Be A Cycle I Didn't Want There To Be Only Three Books That Being Said, I'm in Love With The Books, So I'm Kinda Biased XD

Paolini&;s got more filler than all the seasons of all the Dragonball (Z/GT) shows.

^ I LOL'd At That XD

Brisingr was boring to me. Dx I liked Eragon and Eldest though.

I really enjoyed them. However in my quest not to read spoilers I didn't find out it was not a cycle until I'd finished Brisingr. I think I'd have enjoyed it more had I not been thinking "Oh no, the ending is going to be so rushed" the whole way through :D

I read Eragon and Eldest ages ago.. thought Eragon was great at the time, didn't think Eldest was as good. And i may or may not buy Brisingr and the fourth book, since i can't remember much of the plot any more. I'd have to re-read the first two and.. tbh i've got better books i could be reading XD
