Is there any other way other than the training center where you only get 1-3 points boost a few times a day if you're lucky?

And something that isn't going to break the bank.

Stat boosters. There's a thread about them in the useful threads section. Scratch cards are about the only ones that "isn't going to break the bank" thou.

Oracle quests raise your pet stats as well, though you have to be given a Oracle quest via the random event, and it picks a random pet to raise. So probably not ideal unless you have only one pet heh.

Even though the Oracle gives stats to your active pet, theres still no way to get her attention so if you're looking for the cheapest way.. I agree with Cara. Scratchies but those go to whichever pet.

The only other thing might be to do Shinwa's quests but theres no guarantee there either. You might get a stat booster, she is rather generous handing them out, or you might get a pair of her shoes or something.

Yeah the scratchies wouldn't work for me. Because 1) you actually have to win... and 2) the random pet thing would annoy me.

I'll just keep on truckin with the training center :P
