I think the only way is to have a Lizard Minion Trap in your inventory. They are sold in user shops or the Millionaire Center. Not sure if the repellent works as well.

No, you have to keep them in your inventory

They are definitely re-usable. I can confirm this. :)

HOWEVER, they are also potential items for the Rotten Rogue to steal in another random event.

The Rogue will steal the highest rarity Item you have in inventory, so be sure to keep something with a higher rarity that the trap and spray in your inventory, that you wouldn't mind having stolen--I keep a fruit from the Ikumoradeekanox tree in inventory with them.

I have to wonder though, I haven't ever captured a lizard in any of the events I've had. I may just try keeping the trap alone, to avoid repelling the lizard with the spray and see if that helps.

I believe you need both to actually grab an item from the Lizards.. I've kept just the spray and then just the trap a few times and each event I don't get anything from using just one. I heard it can happen though.. Maybe just rare. ;.; grabby hands the achievement

I think you capture a Comatose Lizard the first time you defeat the challenger Lizard Minion in a battle. I know I got one last year when I challenged the Lizard Minion.

My problem is that you only get the Comatose Lizard one time, and I already got mine a year ago, before the Achievement came out. I wish they'd reset that Battles so those of us who already got this could get it again for the achievement.

I don't know about the spray, I have the trap.... and with the trap I get a comatose lizard minion every time, however, I don't always get the item, it's maybe 50/50?

Just today I got the RE and received both lizard ach. Now that I have those ach, I purchased the spray to have on hand too in hopes of getting the item every time :)

Isn't it possible to catch one without the items?
