Isn't it great when you plan out a HA. Carefully select stuff that matches then you go to check the prices in shops. You search for the item:

NONE.

Oh well you think to yourself maybe trades. You check the trades. You search for the offending item:

NONE.

And that HA in your mind's eye disappears into dust.

This is why I don't use generators to plan my HAs. I just make them with what I already have...

That sucks :/ I used to have a dream HA too, but now I just try some stuff on I already have and see if the HA looks good :)

Well that does suck. Subeta does frequently re-release old items through the fragmentizer though, so with any luck it won't be unobtainable forever.

If it's the GVP then I feel for you D: I've wanted that item foreverrrr but it's too darn expensive.

And what Jess and Lyn said; I make a HA with whatever I already have.

I usually don't start making it unless I have an idea on what each item costs.

A new reading drive should be coming up soon and that's where the wig comes from. I'm sure the prices will go down when people start buying the pretty little fool boxes to resell. Good luck finding one!

Some items can be glitched though and just not show up in searches. You could see if that's the issue in the Bugs forum. I had that happen with an item I couldn't locate at all but I knew they existed.

After some mild negitiations paroxysm has decided to sell it to me. I've probably paid WAY to much for it but shrug I'm happy. :D

Oh I've done that before.... always gets me so damn mad... not because of the item and it's price but because I'm too stupid to find a cheaper item that would work just as well XD

I actually never make a HA before I have the item.

Normally I end up seeing an item I like and than running after it for a bit, but I do not plan a whole theme around it :D

The theme wasn't around the hair hair just fitted the theme perfectly but all's well that ends well.

I had the same thing happen with this avatar though I found one of the item I wanted and just gave in and bought it with sP and cash shop credits.

But I have made an avvie using the 'all clothing on Subeta' option before and then winced when I realized the perfect item is uber rare or incredibly expensive. ^_^;
