Ugh. So for my final English paper I have a proposal and sickeningly long paper on a current First Amendment issue, in my case President Obama's executive order 13199 and the new Faith Based Advisory Council.

I don't mind essays, I really don't, but Legalese makes me ill. I've spent countless hours sorting through the court history, the press documents, newspaper articles, congressional books.

I still just don't get it. If I wanted this I'd have taken political science. Any other boo assignments/classes? :(

How many words is it?

I hate assignments like yours! It's so hard to write about something that you're not interested in AT ALL. :(

I had a boo assignment last week. Had to listen to two sound fragments of a British speaker of English and an American speaker of English who read out the same story. Then I had to analyse the difference between the pronunciation of the vowels in their speech. It was so much and I had to listen to the sound fragments over and over again till I could repeat the story without looking. Ugh.

The initial proposal, just outlining what I'm going to address in my paper, was about 7 pages, the paper is supposed to be about 30. It's not THAT bad except that I hate the topic so much.

I had to write an alternate ending to the Kite Runner because I said the book sucked and my teacher wanted the whole class to make it so that we could make it better or whatever. I didn't do it. ;x
