Do you use paint or something? And how do you "put" the overlay onto your pet?

This is the overlay code that I use personally:

<style> div.pet { background-image: url(insert image url here); background-repeat: no-repeat; width:200px; padding-top:200px;} div.pet img {display:none} </style>

And I make my overlays with Gimp, it's for free and has enough features for me. I am not a big art wizard so something pricy wouldn't make sense. XD

Unfortunately I dont have GIMP. Is it the only way you can make overlays?

If you want an overlay you need to put a code like the one Edge posted and an image to overlay it with. You can make them yourself or you can pay someone to make one for you. GIMP is a free digital art programme that you can download here. If you have a Mac, Seashore is a good equivalent. However, you can use any programme to make an overlay. Or you can scan a traditional image.

Ive been trying to get my dad into downloading GIMP... So you are saying Paint is out of the question?

When you say pay, you mean as in sp, correct?

No, of course not! :) You can use any programme to make an overlay. It just has to be an image that fits over the original. It could be a photo of your dog if you wanted. There are no 'requirements' for the overlays other than overlaying the original art with a different official pet colour (eg. You could not overlay your Sun Kumos with a Reborn Kumos etc.)

And yes I mean pay in sp, although I'm sure there are some peoplenejo make them for real money.
