I went and got a haircut today. I do this every few months cause I don't want long hair, obviously. I was once again told by some teenage girl that I looked like L from deathnote. Yes I know him, I didn’t like the series cause of the last character whats his face, teru or whatever. He was stupid...

I have looked in the mirror and have decided to streak my hair cause I have to agree. I do look like him. Though I have green eyes and an earring but the lack of sleep, the hair, the build even the love of sweets is the same. I do not do this as a mimicry of him but I find it odd.

I can't decide on what color. Purple or blue? I could do both... Or grow a goatee cause I know I will look good cause of my facial bone structure will make me look older if I did so. But I think I like the streak of color idea best cause it’s too itchy growing facial hair. I wonder if getting more sleep will make me less like L… I can’t tell. I think I will ask my boyfriend since he would know better XD

But what colour is your hair? x_X; Have you dyed a colour before? Because I know some darker hair colours affect light hair dyes even if you bleach first :/

I dunno it depends on your hair color. I suppose since you mentioned you look like L then you have black hair. If that's so then blue perhaps would be good

Really not a fan of neons or super unnatural colours in streaks, (they look -really- teenager if you're going for an older look) I'd probably do burgundy or auburn or aubergine coloured ones in that case, maybe with a few navy ones thrown in.

Do you have any pictures of your self? I'd be able to pick a colour if I could see you, I'm not very good at visualising people in my head.

Hmmm it depends how dark your hair and the shades of the colors yourare using. A electric blue would go nice in dark hair. While a dark blue would go nicely in light hair. But if the purple is bright, then I would go with purple.

My hair is blue black, no pictures XD I bleach out in cameras and I refuse to appear like a vampire just for help with my hair. I am almost tempted to do silver. I thought about white but I don't wanna look skunkish. I do have to agree that bright colors look teenish so I am stuck. Silver or what else? My hair is short chin length ruffled blue black hair.

I was planning on bleaching the spots I plan on streaking THEN adding the color. My boyfriend will do it for me because he does hair for a living so he can't mess up like I would. I work in an occult shop and everyone will be surprised. I know for a fact that my co-workers think I am too vain about my hair to dye it. I am not a peacock, but I do like my hair nice, who doesn't? I have the bad feeling that my boyfriend is going to take me shopping... He thinks I need better clothes. XD I am a terrified slave!

Do the streaks and the goatee! :o My friend had black hair and she got red-ish and auburn highlights that looked pretty snazzy. I don't know how set you are on silver, but silver always just reminds me of ... older people who have silver hair. XD

You could always use some cover-up or something if you have dark bags under your eyes.

I decided on silver and purple XD I figure making an odd combo will fit! I have yet to see someone with streaks like mine. I like purple... And oddly it makes the green in my eyes stand out more so it's a win. I suppose I will just go with just purple text... I wanna know how I make it rainbow colors XD

tbh your font's showed up as arial all this time for me. Don't have a lot of different fonts on my computer :P

If you're going for spectacular silver streaks you must post a picture when it's done :D. You can blank out your face if you're not comfortable showing it but man I wanna see your hair!
