Mostly my genre is Comedy, High school, slice of life and romance though the occasional mystery/suspense is good too.

Here are my recommendations C: Anime:

Manga:

• Rabbit Doubt

The comedy/SoL/Romance sounds like a friend of mine. I know she liked Toradora and Ouran a lot.

Of the shows I've seen that I know she really likes:

-Sayounara Zetsubou Sensei. It's mainly a comedy/high school anime, with a healthy dose of "what" thrown in for good measure. It's a very good show, as long as you can get past the often nonsensical plot points.

-Axis Powers Hetalia. It's a cute and silly show, with a little bit of educational value as well. All of the characters are/represent a country, and each episode (which are only about 15 minutes) there will be 2 or 3 skits that tell a story from history, the main recurring one being WWII.

I agree with the Hetalia recommendation and sort for SZS. I loved SZS, but the fan service and lolicon (even if it seemed to be mocking it - SZS mocks everything) just got too much for me to handle, so I had to stop watching it. I'm not sure how you feel on the subject, but I just thought I'd add that as a warning.

Also Hetalia is 5 minutes long, not 15.

Ah. I knew it wasn't full length, I just couldn't remember how long it was. 15 did seem a bit too long.

I believe that 1/2 Prince is a manga that you might enjoy. (It fits most of the catagories you listed.)

Umm, Shakugan no Shana is good (same VA as Taiga) c: Ranma 1/2 is a classic (even though I just started watching it recently hurrr), but it's really funny <3

Surprised no one has suggested The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya yet... Other shows are Hare+Guu and as others have said, Axis Powers Hetalia which I am totally in love with. :3

If you liked Rabbit Doubt and Death Note, you might enjoy Liar Game. It's a manga and it's realllyy good. I think there is also a drama series but I haven't seen it.
