Ok. So, lemme get this straight. I love the organization of the forums. It's great. Really. BUT. Profile and Graphics market moves too slow. :c Not the threads. But the freebies and the auctions move at like... a snails pace. It's been four months since my last auction. And it's BARELY half way down the page. Not only that, but there isn't even a SECOND page for the auctions. Why does no one make auctions anymore? |C I hate that. I really do. So yeah. I just wanted to vent. :c

Organization = Very loved. Speed Of Boards = Very UNloved.

Yes. They do. I wish it moved like the art market auctions. But I guess that's because people don't really welcome new graphics makers like the do Artists. Not in my opinion anyway. They tend to stick with a lot of profiles by one person.

I just noticed about three or four people remade them even though it's on the first page.. @ (Auctions are already over, so it's not like tattling or anything. xD) Are we allowed to do that if our other board is over the 3 month necro rule? Because I was just going to reuse my old auction thread, but it's over 3 months old. By like... a month. xD

but people are scared that no one will bid because, as stated, the auctions move at snail pace. people are scared for their egos - don't you realize how embarrassing it is to get absolutely no bids?

yep, we've all been there!

but i guess it also has something to do with the size of subeta, still. we're not the biggest community like, say, gaia and such, so the activity fluctuates a lot, and it doesn't take much for a thread to be forgotten, even if it's just below one or two others.

of course there's also the factor of, as you said, people loyally buying profiles from the same person all the time. the fan-factor, as i'm going to call it from now on.

True. There is that. But usually if you advertise it even a little bit you get at least one 500k or something. I've had my share of no bids in the past. Just tells me I need to work harder. But I see your point.

And yeah, with our small community it takes awhile to get anything out. Everyone knows the good names. But there are others too. It just amazes me that artists are so more welcomed than profile-ists and such. :c

Alas, I think I'll have to get over it. xD Just keep trying, I suppose.

made up statistics, but i'm pretty sure they work... somewhat they pull the point across! anyway.

subeta is a community of art whores, and in order for the art whores to be interested in gfx they need to whore art so they have something to show off on, say, a profile!

that's how it works, i'd say.

The graphics forum moved fairly slowly before the forums were reorganized. It moved a bit faster then, but it was still slow.
