Am I the only one who is like this?

I play Pokemon. I spend days, weeks, months sometimes even YEARS trying to get a good Pokemon with great IVs and correct natures. I throw away so much dang time fruitlessly trying to get my desired Pokemon. Eventually, I lower my standards thinking what I wanted was impossible.

And then I have certain friends who just run into a wild Gyarados and catch it, and it has two perfect stats and decent stats in the rest, correct nature and everything. Not only do they just do that, but they turn around and catch one, two sometimes even three more Pokemon with such high stat values! Just like that!

It flusters me because I waste my life away trying to accomplish a goal, and other people accomplish that goal in ten minutes.

The luck phail also crosses over to other games. Whenever I play Fire Emblem, my characters always get crappy level-ups. Everyone else plays the exact same game and get awesome characters.

In Sonic Adventure 2: Battle, I've been trying to get an orange Chao. The black market NEVER stocks any orange eggs. I've tried three different memory cards, and I get the same results. I even deleted one of my files and started again. Twice. T_T

I could swear that video games hate me. :(

Luck hates me in general.

So I usually don't bother with those kind of things in video games XD It sucks.

I've got ungodly awful luck on a lot of games.

Perfect-looking pokemon with the perfect moveset for a certain contest -- its nature will be ALL WRONG for the kind of poffins I'll have to feed it. Case in point: an absol with all-smart, damn good moveset (he's also a damn good battler, by the way), and his nature...lends him to SPICY poffins. -_-

...I have to guess which side they're putting the spike strip on while trying to evade the cops on Need For Speed -- I'll inevitably run over the spike strip. ;o;

And, perhaps my worst luck -- I'll be needing a certain card on SNK vs. Capcom Card Fighters DS. (Usually a healing card). IT NEVER COMES UP WHEN I NEED IT, BUT ALWAYS COMES UP WHEN I DON'T. Same with certain character cards ( coughDuo Loncough )

I've never played Pokemon but I'm usually pretty lucky in every MMO I play. I normally get my best gear before most people in my raiding group, and that is decided by rolling dice to get the highest number.

I have plenty of negative traits with games but luck, amazingly, isn't one of them.
