So I'm jamming out on my iPod to the Ramones, Alice Cooper, and all this other heavier stuff on shuffle when out of nowhere comes this super slow song that sounds like Janis Joplin on hexafluoride. I guess I downloaded Lonely Boy by Iron Butterfly and didn't even remember downloading it. :P

Have you had a time where you bought/received something and forgot about it just as quickly as you had gotten it?

For some reason when I used to sync my old iPod, it would download some of my mom's songs too. So I'd be jamming out to my songs and suddenly this horrid crap would come on ( sorry, mom. :( ).

Luckily the new iPod doesn't do that.

I usually forget I have a song, and then I'll be playing them all on shuffle, and I'll be all, "OMGTHISISAMASING. WHen did I get this?" xD

i went through a phase when i was 13 when all i wore was black so my nosey, yacht club aunt took me shopping and made me try on all these hideous clothes that i would never wear in 10000000000000 years.

one of the tops she bought me was this ugly pink tank top with a kitty on it and a heart in speech bubble from it's mouth. it was rotting in my closet for 3 years until we moved and i was going through my clothes. i saw it and went OH THIS IS SO CUTE I'M GOING TO WEAR THIS ALL THE TIME. it's getting hotter and i'm wearing it all the time now. lol.

i was watching adult swim and you know how they play music during the bumps? well i heard one song come on during one bump and I REALLY LIKED it. so i was falling asleep and thinking " i have to find out what this song its so dope"

then 2 days later i'm listening to my itunes on shuffle and that very song came on. Chromakey Dreamcoat by Boards of Canada. i had the song all along.

Not to get into downloading talk but a lot of times with torrents people will throw random songs into an album zip.

The last weird songs I got this way were tracks from an old Viggo Mortensen / Buckethead album. Yep. Pretty weird.

Anyways, I don't remember ever downloading Linkin Park or KISS onto my iPod. Nevertheless, they appeared before my eyes.

I once sync'd my iPod by mistake to me and my brother's shared iTunes library, not thinking at all I guess. It's still full of shit (sorry bro) but also great music I don't have in my own library so it's okay.

It was just shocking to put it on shuffle and get Meshuggah when I thought I was gonna get John Lennon :P

Also Ramones=my never dying love. Especially Joey's voice omg omg.
