Just wondering, if you turn in a full tray of tiles, do your extras (ie doubles) disappear?
Because I'm thinking I'm way too stinge to deal with the Tile Monger, and I can't see the info anywhere on the guides, or on HQ :)

No. You get to keep all of the extras. Keep in mind that some pieces seem to be harder to get then others so I will usually trade for tiles when I get down to only one or two missing from a full tray.
Serious Telenine Collector at work!

I have yet to figure out how to get tiles in my case, without buying them form user shops.
Kit_kat... me neither! Darn confusing Tile Monger!
I am lost on that too!

have you guys read the FAQ? it says how to put tiles in your collection or whatever. after I read it, I decided this game was far too much trouble... I mean... seriously? I'm sorry, but this game is just ridiculous. :|
to get the tiles in your tile case you first play the game, then when you have each tile you click Mysterious Stone Tile Tray and in there at the bottom theres a gold tile if its sparkling you get to play the bonus game, play that and at the end of it you get a tile to keep.

Thanks for this. I was just coming to make a thread asking the same question.
Takes forever to get to the other game though
Going Fishing!!! 🐟
i think that the format of playing the regular game (and fill the tray before the bonus game) is necessary in order to succeed at the bonus game. the bonus game can be long and hard, so getting familiar with how to play the initial game makes the process much easier.
the rules are confusing, i will agree. but i can definitely see why playing so many smaller games becomes much more advantageous (and rewarding) towards the bonus game. ^_^
