i don't really see a theme or a color scheme or anything. if i were rating this, i'd probably give it a 1/10
what most people try to do is pick one item and build off of it. use the colors and textures to help develop something new. don't just toss on things from your wardrobe that look appealing separate, try to make them go together as one whole piece.
in your case, maybe try using your rainyday verdure pearls and building a light green/light blue/white outfit. white and black are neutral so they pretty much go with everything. you'll have the best luck picking two colors and a neutral and just building from that. good luck :)
Thanks for the opinion, but I don't see the HA the same way you do. For me, the HA is a way to release my fantasy and to use my creativity in the process. My HA is a forest elf, and I think all I am using fits the theme.
I like the shoes and the stuff under it matching. And the feather kind of matches the thing on the ground.
If you really have cardboard wings it would be a polluted forest and I don't see stuff that green with moss colored things on the forests ground. The bright green dosen't look forstey in this context.
You can still use both techniques of HA making and get a better result. If you start with a forest elf like item and grow while keeping the theme in mind it will come to you. Many people like using color schemes I suggest this too to make things really come together.
Example: Drawmestar looks like someone who's having fun at a beach resort or a deck looking at a beach with friends to me. You can do this While keeping themes.
But all that said, if you really like it why not.
