In Art. Great. Now How am I ever going to be eligible to go to Hershey Park? Oh wait, on the permission slip, it says:
Any student without a 73% or higher in all subject areas on June 1, 2009 will be ineligible for the trip to Hershey Park.
It's not June 1st yet. All I have to do is finish my Self Portrait and then I might be able to go!
But, today is Sunday. I DON'T HAVE SCHOOL. My portrait and supplies are AT SCHOOL. Hell, by saying 'on June 1, 2009' I really hope they mean by 2:45 P.M. on June 1, 2009.
Dx that's the problem. I don't know what they mean by that. Fuck, fuck, fuckity fuck.
What should I do? It's not like I could go to the school now and finish it!
OK, you think that's bad? Screw Hershey Park.. I failed psyc my junior year with a 69.9. ASGSAF. Failing is 70. I had to retake it my senior year.. the only class I'd EVER gotten below a 86 in. And I failed it by a 10th of a point.
Besides, Hershey isn't that great anyway.. the best part about it are the streetlights :P
Anyway.. maybe you should have tried harder? Or thought ahead and brought your art stuff home, since you knew you'd have to do extra credit?
unless your supplies and everything are in the actual classroom, then why not just grab them from school and work on it at home?
good luck getting out of your predicament, i know i'd be hella pissed if i wasn't able to go to the land of chocolate goodness!
But see, the thing, is, is that ALL of my friends are going. And if I don't go, they'll have all the fun without me. And I'll be at school doing shit. And by the way, I doubt I'm going now, because I didn't finish anything. FFFFFUUUUUUUCCCCCCCCKKKKKKKKKK

Really? Depending on the class, Art is really hard. Assuming they have a high level art class.
Can you talk to your advisor person, or who ever is setting this up and get a quick extension on the deadline for the grade? Make sure to make a big point of having to turn in one thing that will boost your grade up.
High school art is a lot different than middle school art. I don't know about your schools, but my art teacher graded on skill, not just effort.
anyway, tbqh I kind of think it's your fault for a) forgetting your supplies at school, knowing you needed to have that mark to go to the park and b) not finishing it sooner. idfk, I slacked off hard core in school but I never got pissed off about this kind of stuff, because it was my fault.

Are you kidding?
Art is so demanding.
I'm currently failing photography. LOL. I have to go in tomorrow and try to finally fix shit up. She hasn't graded a lot of my shit yet. I /may/ pass for the year.
LOL, that's the kind of response you hear from someone who's never done art before. xD
People usually have a wild misconception that art is simply about drawing pretty pictures and then writing a bit about them. That is so wrong. (well, maybe in younger years - but certainly not at GCSE or A-level).
Put it this way - I'm a potential Oxford Uni applicant and I'm getting a C grade in Art at the moment. x.x Art isn't about seeping up facts and spewing them out like certain other subjects, you have to do a lot of work. And that's where I fall down - I don't work. Art is the only subject I've EVER come across where I can't get away with the bare minimum. ;p
Anyway, I hope you managed to get it done. Ha, my final project for Art I had to do in three days (we had months to do it) because I did barely anything beforehand, and I got that done. 8D (see what I mean about how I didn't work in Art?!).
im failing math right now with a 64.5. passing is like a 75 i have no idea how i am going to pull up my math grade enough to pass geometry!
My test scores suck (and i though i did good last time!!!) and my teacher hates me.
Plus if i fail it i have to take it again net year and i have next year all planned out!
My life sucks.
Working on filled wardrobe achievement. Almost at 12k!
