DIE OF BOREDOM over summer break and before that I can keep my sanity over finals. :P

I'm currently reading Lord of the Flies by William Golding and loving his style, so anything along those lines, please?

I also like fantasy-esque stories. Not insanely whimsical where I'm confused every other sentence though, please. xD

I'm up for anything though, as long it's somewhat coherent and isn't insanely graphic.

Catcher in the Rye? haha, umm let me think (sorry for not mentioning the authors, I'm just too tired to check)

The Unbearable Lightness of Being The Perks of Being a Wallflower The Great Gatsby and Tales of the Jazz Age (those short stores by f. scott fitzgerald, including the benjamin button one :)) In the Time of the Butterflies Girl With a Pearl Earring One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest This Side of Paradise Water for Elephants As I Lay Dying A Separate Peace The Secret Life of Bees The Bell Jar

if you're feeling like reading some Agatha Christie, 'And then there were none' is a good read too :)

and umm...maybe some short stories by Chekhov or Kafka?

hope it helps ;)

The Looking Glass Wars by Frank Beddor (I believe that's his first name)

The novel is and excellent spin-off of the original Alice in Wonderland. I think it is greatly written, suspensfull, and all around amazing. There's the evil Aunt Redd who decapitates people, little innocent Alyss lost in the real world, and catepillers that smoke hookahs and predict the future. The book itself is very fantastical, interesting, and wants you to read more.

There is website specifically set for the the novel, www.lookingglasswars.com, and features art, music specifically meant for it, and quite possibly a movie. I highly recommend it. You might find it to be quite enjoyable ;)

Please ping if you reply!

The Bell Jar is fabulous! I recommend that too. Girl with the Pearl Earring was also great.

1984 is always a great read Crime and Punishment's one of my favorite books Pride and Prejudice by Austen (over-read/ suggested, but good) Any of Wilde's plays (interesting) Good Omens by Gaiman/Pratchett All the Discworld books by Terry Pratchett (awesome) The Perks of Being a Wallflower You Don't Know Me (the main character's voice makes it interesting) Also agree with the suggestions of Bell Jar and pretty much everything on Fountainhead's list :p)
