My dad's off for two weeks, so he went grocery shopping today and picked up some more Kleenex. I've had a pretty crappy cold for the past week, and I needed to blow my nose.

Insted, I inhaled the powerful smell of lilac and vanilla, and nearly choked on my own spit. It felt like I was shoving a bunch of flowers up my nose. I'm sensative to scent, so it was certainly not fun.

So I've had to use toilet paper to blow my nose, and it makes my nose itch. :(

Anyone else here hated some scented products?

Those things are nice to look at but not any fun to use.

I once had some menthol kleenex and the thing was awful, after some hours my nose was peeling and burning and all red-looking. Ugh, not fun. ;_;

Ewwww. I hate scented tissues. :<

My science teacher got one of those plug-in air freshener things and put it in the classroom - when I walked in this morning the smell of fake lilac was like getting punched in the face.

I hate scented tissues when I'm sick.

Scented Kleenex is serious fail. ;-;

I had 'mint' scented ones once haha. They turned out to smell strongly of generic men's cologne, impossible to use since I started to sneeze when within sniffing distance.

I used them as air fresheners in the back of a closet :P

I've had green tea ones too, they were rather nice and perfumey but it's not like I'll like them better if they smell?

i hate those. death to scented kleenexs! i once held one up to my nose and quickly blew becoz i was going to sniffle, and once i inhaled the smell, i coughed and spluttred everywhere. it was sickening.

Well scented tissues arent so bad when you have a stuffy nose.XD There was this scented DVD i had when i was small,and everytime i had to play it i almost died.The smell was very strong.@

When I'm sick to my stomach, scented things make me want to vomit. But if I've got a stuffy nose, Vick's scented tissues are my best friend =)

I have No idea why the scent them. I have the flu at the moment, and going thru boxes of tissues, and seriously at this point, I can't smell or taste anything, so why bother with scents?

I remember buying a pack of cinnamon-scented tissues around Christmas a few years back. I loved them because they smelled nice and didn't make my nose weep in agony. Don't know if they make them anymore, though. :(

Kleenex was never meant to be scented, especially with such strong odors. Besides, people with stuffed up noses and colds can't smell as well anyway, so it's a waste of scent. xD

i had a bad cold last week and my dad bought scented tissues. They made me sneeze even worse.

Scented kleenex ? That doesn't even SOUND like a good idea...

Scented soaps give me back acne. So naturally I hate them.

Except my parents are constantly buying scented soaps even though they know I gat back acne from it. It's really irritating. :(

I've never had scented tissues. But I really hate the scratchy ones. They make my nose hurt.

Scented Loo Roll is cool though. It makes my bathroom smell like flowers.

There are some things that just aren't meant to be scented..

Aw man...I would get a massive headache from those. Most strong, fake scents like that give me a headache. I hate strong perfume, body spray, lotion, etc.

But agreed, Vicks Kleenexes are THE BEST. Even if i'm not sick
