so just now i was trying desperately to log into my account and my password wouldn't work for anything! i changed my password last night so i was freaking out thinking i either typed in the wrong thing, or that my account was frozen or something...

then i remembered i changed my username. facepalm

When I ISS'd I was doing the same thing. I would start typing my old username and then be like... oh wait. >_>

haha it took me several pathetic minutes to realize it x__x i feel so dopey these days when it comes to subeta. i sound like a total ditz when i'll ask a question because someone will answer with something really obvious.

pats Don't feel bad. If I ever gather the necessary funds to purchase an ISS, I'll probably end up doing the same thing. I'll have to leave a note for myself on my desktop, so I don't send a panicked letter to the staff . XD

And nothing you could ever do would equal the stupidity of tearing around the site for half an hour in search of a recently purchase expensive wearable, only to relize you already put it on your HA. facepalm

I think it happens to all of us :D I changed my name more than a year ago but when I had I was doing it too :P

I did exactly the same thing after I changed my username! :D

Ah, it happened to everyone, I'm sure. I had to put a sticky note on screen reminding me that I changed my username.xD

When I get my ISS I'm probably going to do that... heh I'll have to leave myself a note, like Sarah said

I know the feeling. xD That's why I made firefox save my name-pass change. -giggles- I'm the only one that uses this computer for subbie so I figured it was safe. But every once in awhile when I go to search for my post or something using ctrl-f, I'll still type in Aryx. :P It's been like... what... 4 months? 5? It's something you just laugh at. Congrats on the name change though. ;)

I did that so many times when I change my UN the first time. The second time I made sure to make FF remember that name and password right away. lol. It was a bit of a pain.

Oh gawds, I'd just about die and have a fit if that happened to me--my brain is so flaky I'm sure it would, too. Glad you finally remembered, though.

Fortunately, I like my username, so I don't have to change it and thus forget I did so.

I did that at least two or three times as well and judging from all the posts here, you're not alone! Now, I have my own laptop so I don't really log out all that often.

I'm so glad I'm not the only person who has done that. I changed my username nearly a month ago, but I generally stay logged in. The few times I've gotten logged out (or log in from a different computer) I've been so tripped out because of it.

I guess it's just a case of breaking the old habit, it will happen eventually :)

I don't think I did it on this site, not with my username anyway, even though I did change my username, like less than a month after I joined. I did do that on Gaia though. O_O

Oh good, I'm not the only one who still tried typing in my old UN after a change. xP Even after I changed it, I kept going to put in celebi13 for like two weeks xD

I think it's happened to just about everyone. Except my computer was remembering my old username and I automatically just typed in my password thinking it should've remembered my new username by now, and it wouldn't go. Had me thinking, OMG SOMEONE HAXED ME. But finally, I stopped for a second to look.

Same thing happened when I changed my password two days later and thought the exact same thing again. Mmm... bad forgetful flaky brain
