Wow...that's some nice swans thereO.o
They are probably really protective parentsO.O
birds are evil! an ostrich bit my finger when i was a little girl. :(
Swans are notorious for being violent. I've only ever come across ONE swan who was actually socialized well enough to eat bread from a person's hand. As much as that sucks for you, I can't say I'm surprised.
Swans and Geese are both very aggressive at times, my great aunt kept guard Geese at her house that would attack my mom when she went to visit. I got chased by one at a park once but what is a really scary large bird is the peacock, I was like five and i thought maybe if i followed it and was really quite it wouldn't notice me and would spread it feathers out all pretty. It noticed me and chased all the way back to the library.
LOL All the swans I've come across are tame as fuck and eat bread from my hand...although I'm careful to avoid ones with cygnets or areas that might be nesting sites. Don't want my hair ripped out :P
Damn - but that swan seems a bit touchy. In a "Look at my children and you DIE" kind of way.

holds in laughter
.....
BWAHAHAHAHA.
Lmao. That is HILARIOUS.
I stopped reading at 'pong'
My mental image distracted me :c
Swan v.s. Human.Swan wins? Never heard of that before o-o .Why not just punch it out or something? But I guess its kind hard when your boat just capsized.
Swans and geese love me.I've never been attacked or anything. They eat right out of my hands :) Loud has hell though. But then again I have never been near any with their "cygnets". And my grandpa is also from Ohio.He talks funny...
[edit] Just read Dizzydazey's post.It should totally be legal to use self defence!Especially when things like this happen. Its legal to use self defence against mountain lions so why not geese?
