I'm masochistic today so I want to know something: Have my HA making skills improved? I'll show you some of my old HAs and some new ones. Curious about what you say...

I know, a lot of HAs Dx I'm sorry, but I'd really like to know if my skills are better now. I've been told that I use black and white too much and that I need to layer more. I don't think my HAs are boring, but I don't want them cluttered either :x

I think you have improved, absolutely. I very much love your last.. and your current HA. They are very well layered and you use nice colors (good matching and balance too). If you compare your new and old one's I think you got a bit more... plucky ;) .

I don't get why people tell you that you use black and white too much though. Both are nice to work with and especially black is classic. After all, it depends on the overall concept in my opinion. ^_^

I see plenty of improvement in your HAs. But...too much white/black? Nothing wrong with a solid neutral. It's worked since forever for everyone. No need to toss it for good. Of course, sometimes it isn't really necessary, but it always works.

and your layering is fine, just like the color schemes you use you shouldn't let other people's opinions get to you :x

i, for one, do miss that white/purple/black HA of yours 'twas so beautiful and calm (:

cvjetic: Do you mean the third one of the old HAs I posted? :o I really liked that one too, mainly because I worked over a week on it XD

Akayasuma: Thanks a lot ^_^ I just wanted to try working out one of my favourite HAs again, I really loved the green/brown/black one. I know there is no brown in it anymore, or at least not on the first look, but I love how it turned out :o

RaiRai: That's what I think ^_^ I'm always trying to make my HAs look different and unique and sometimes I just can't go over the black/white because it makes the HA look really good. Maybe the peron who told me that I use them too much reffered to my current HA at this time, which was monochrome xD I love monochrome HAs, sometimes they are really cool, but sadly they are looking a little boring most of the time :(

well i always liked your old ones but yeah i think they've definitely improved. you do use black and white a lot, but i like it because you really make it your own and you have a very distinct and recognizable style.
