maybe it's just me, but I don't understand the people who come to me and want a refund for the dollar (or less) they lost in the vending machine.
I mean, two dollars, maybe, but imho it just seems like a waste of time. I understand the economy and all that, but it is not nearly as bad where I live, and the way that it works at my hospital is you're going to have to wait until the weekend is over to get your... dollar ):
fffhhh
also this lady keeps wiping her nose with her hand and it's fucking disgusting. You work in a hospital. you're a nurse. you should know better, nasty. go wash your hands

ok ew at the snot hand.
Anyway, I know I'd want a refund cause I'd want to buy something else probably XD I mean.. if you're buying from a vending machine you're hungry and either broke or there isn't anything else around, or both.

I'd get a refund, just cause I'm a broke ass
Graduated, now time to get on with my life.
Working on; Achievements. These things are hard!

No, I haven't, so I guess you can shoot me for being a judgmental asshole. ;P
Just a note that I'm not belittling anyone's social status or anything; I do understand that not a lot of people can afford things, I just don't understand why someone would want to wait three to four days for one dollar. I don't know.

I guess I've just never had an opportunity to be broke. I'm still only seventeen and living with my parents, who, uh, are well off. I'm sure in the future when I'm out on my own and struggling to pay my tuition I'll have better insight.

That's not as bad as the women who freaked at me because she paid an extra 10 cents for a box of saltines.
I sell the lady them, she pays, then comes back ten minutes later yelling at me that the crackers were 2.39 not 2.49 and how she was ripped off... I stared at her for a while, then just tossed a random dime from the ground at her.
My mom's like that, she just loves saving money. :c
Tbh, it's kind of embarrassing when she makes a big deal over something like being charged an extra 15 cents...yes, this has happened before. :x
my mom is like that too. my stepdad and mom like to spend there whole paychecks on dumb shit like HD big TVs for their room.
one time we only had like, 6 dollars in change and my mom was going to buy hamburgers with it. i had 75 cents and i was going to buy gum with it. she LITERALLY shook me for the 75 cents. like it was going to get her A WHOLE BUNCH MORE MEAT.
she was so pissed she didnt even feed me any meat. she wouldnt let me have any of it. she's like 350 lbs too. but w/e i chewed my gum aint no thang
i'd go back for a dollar too
I think stuff like that is embarassing (for some dumb reason), so unless I -really- needed it I wouldn't bother. Hopefully it'll come to good use :P
I hate to complain, it makes me feel so stupid. I always try to solve it myself, haha. Anything to avoid an argument :(
THEY CAN'T BREAK YOU IF YOU DON'T HAVE A SPINE
i personally, cannot talk to strangers and i can never ask them for help or anything, i have no spine.
if the machine had eaten a 20, maybe i'd ask but if it was 5 or 10 i would have just cried and hid in the bathroom o__o...
In all honestly, I'd want my dollar back so I could use it on a less shitty vending machine. I don't see why I should just hand over any amount of money as a reward for something that obviously sucks.
Where I live, it's BAD. VERY BAD.
I'd want my darn dollar back. A lot of people can't afford to give up pennies let alone whole dollars, much like me.
For many people it's not about the money, it's more of a "fuck you give me back my dollar" kind of thing.
What if you only had a dollar in your pocket and you wanted food, but the vending machine sucked up the only dollar that you had, so now you can't get food?
I find various times that that is my problem.
And a dollar does matter. I shouldn't be one to talk, since I'm not broke and my family is rather well off, but when it comes down to it, to some people that dollar matters a lot.
I'd want me dollar back 'cause it's ME dollar and I just wasted itO.o
Haha, the reaction would be just the same in Britain, if not worse. -credit crunch times-
On a side note, 'dollars' and 'bucks' sound so much cooler than 'pounds'. :| I'm coming to Americaaa.
