Tommorow morning, an 18 year old Spanish guy is coming to live with us for 3 weeks. He's coming here to study and learn English better, but whilst he's here, he's going to have some free time on his hands, and he said to my mum that he'd 'love to get to know us properly'.
Since he's pretty much my own age, my mum is expecting me to entertain him when he's free. My Spanish used used to be good, but now it's .. a little rusty around the edges. xD
Any ideas on how I can entertain this guy? His name is Ramón. -ooh- 'Rayman' to the British tongue. :P
Whoooo! -whistle- I see something prettyyyy! :P
Take him to the London Dungeon -evil cackle-.
(how does he look?)
I haven't actually seen a photo of him yet. xD I'm hoping he's attractive, lmao. -shallow-
I'll take some photos for you, Michelleee.
Getting rid of the dirty thoughts that just invaded me mind...show he the sights of where you live. Outings.
Say silly things in Spanish. :3 He laughs, you laugh, BOOM. Perfect. ;D
OOOH! Espanol (:
I took that last semester!
Have fun !
[flower=zazzie] <3
I did Spanish AS-level, and am soon to do it for A2, and our college had a Spanish guy that came and helped us with our Spanish speaking. xD I don't know much of what he did here though, so I guess that's not really helpful. :3
But anyway, do you live in England? Foreign people who come here always want to see London, so I guess that's an option. Maybe a few other historic cities - just show him Britian, to let him learn the culture as well as the language, I'm sure he'd appreciate that. You could take him to the theatre or something too. And you could also just relax at home, chat to him in English and get to know him. Watch some films maybe.
And in terms of brushing up on your Spanish - watch some Spanish films. 8D I find they're excellent for getting me into a 'Spanish mood', and I learn a lot. You might not even have to go out and find one either, have a look at the DVDs you already have and the languages they come in. Chances are some of them are probably dubbed in Spanish on at least some of your DVDs. x) But if he's coming over here to improve his English, then most likely you won't need your Spanish very often as he'll be making an effort to speak English - so I shouldn't worry too much. :D
Ooh, I took Spanish this year. Uh, take him to London Dungeons (I love that place), Madame Tussauds? Like said above, historical places. Ooh! Go to LEGOLAND.
I've not been to legoland in so long!!! -reminisces-
yeah just take him around were ever you live, if he's over here he'll probably know a fair amount of English im guessing your in London so shopping! XD get him the local food (fish and chips XD) just random places you like going, maybe some museums if he wants to learn some thing yeah the dungeons, scare him half to death XD so just random places
You should take this opportunity to learn the Spanish language of love. ;)
