I was using boolProp in CAS and I was able to use a custom skin for one of my sims. Later on, when I try to make her have a baby, it keeps knocking me off (something like 'system terminated'), right before she gives birth. :S Does anyone know how I can fix this? ;_;

Also, is there any other way for me to get custom skins; without having to get a speices (ie: alien, vampire, ect.), but in create a sim; without photoshop or dowloading? I can't figure it out in the body shop. x-x

lollypop- yeah, I did. :( I know it can mess things up, so I normally turn it off when not using it. .-.

Okay.

Some skins will cause automatic crashes. The mannequin skin is one of them, which I'm assuming is the one you used if it's saying 'system terminated'. A mannequin skinned sim cannot give birth without this happening. It's a glitch. You can't get around it.

Boolprop has nothing to do with it in this case.

As for custom skins, you the sims exchange to and type in 'alien'. You'll get tons of green guys and gals you can upload into your game! Download the file into a place you can easily find it (I seriously recommend making a file for it. I myself had over 500 CC packs). Once you have the desired file, double click it, and a blue box will appear asking 'install custom content'. After you click it, it should say tell you that the pack was downloaded sucessfully, and when you go to create a sim, you will find the new skin under in the custom content, which is the little asterix next to the regular four shades of skin.

Hope that wasn't too confusing.

The sims exchange is on the Sims 2 site.

When you get there, login (or register if you don't have an account) and go to the top where it says 'exchange'. Then select 'Sims'.

From there, it's pretty straightforward. You type in a keyword, select what gender or age you want, and you'll get hundreds of sims with different hair, skin, clothes, eyes to choose from.
