Sorry, but, I feel like bawwwwing.

So for the past couple of weeks I've been driving my mom bugfuck trying to get her to go see Land of the Lost with me. I have loved that show ever since I was a littleun', and the movie looks pretty good, and it would be so totally awesome to see it with my mom. :3 But every day, it's just been me going 'Mom. MOM. LET'S GO SEE IT THIS WEEKEND. TODAY. NEXT WEEKEND. I DON'T CARE. NOW. WHENEVER. WE NEED TO SEE THIS MOVIE.'

So yesterday, she and her boyfriend need to go to Home Depot to pick up some gardening stuff, I asked if I could come and they said it wouldn't be too long, just stay at home, etc.

THREE HOURS LATER they come back and my mom just nonchalantly adds as she's taking the gardening supplies in, 'Oh yeah, we saw Land of the Lost while we were out.'

I was just like 'D8 WTF?'

They won't shut up about how awesome it was, and how I should totally go see it sometime. It's a stupid thing to be hurt about, but I did feel hurt. D: My mom keeps telling me not to worry, I can go see it by myself next weekend, and I'm just like... I don't WANT to see it by myself, I wanted to see it with you, because we lived off of that show for my entire childhood.

Awh whatever I need to stop being such a little shit anyway.

I probably would have been mad too, but my parents never go to the movies lol.

Oh they did do something like that before though. I was going to a anime convention for the weekend and the weekend after we planned on going to a huge strawberry festival, we planned it out and everything. Then after I get back on Sunday they tell me that they decided to go without me...

WOW. That was just nasty of them. I mean, jeez. It sounds kinda like she was TRYING to upset you by doing that. That's such bullshit. I'd be pissed off and hurt too. ):

For some reason this gave me the idea that maybe she is trying to deceive you, and is actually going to surprise you by taking you on a super awesome outing to see the movie next weekend, as a mother daughter thing. Trying to make the surprise better by making you feel terrible beforehand, you know?

I'm just trying to be optimistic, so if she really IS just being a bitch I'm extremely sorry!

That's a really nice thought, Hearts, but I doubt it. ;_; She just came in here to give me what's left of her Regal Cinemas giftcard. So. I can see it. By myself.

that's not very nice ._. I'd probably ask her about why she did it and mention that I really really wanted to see it with her. Just, you know, to prevent this kinda thing happening again :)
