My first question is about pet profiles. I know I saw a board months and months ago with the same question, but I just couldn't find it. Anyway question is how to change the color of a pet name? You know they're sometimes bright green or neon pink and it really really bugs me. Any help please on this one?
And now the very important one. So today one person commented me and said that my profile looked like th is in Safari. Anyone have a clue why is it like this? Cause my Mozilla shows it perfectly fine. Is there a mistake in coding or it's a browser's fault? Help, plz. :)
for the first one:
you can try the code below... sometimes it works other times it doesn't
b span {color: !important}
i can't help you with the second sorry. c:
Thanks. Actually I think there's really no way to do it, but yeah, maybe somebody who's smarter in coding knows. .__.
I have no idea why the background from the default profile is showing up! I have downloaded safari and the background is transparent for me... try changing your profile from "field" to "none"? Although I couldn't recreate the problem with my own profile.. so that might not fix the issue.
As for the positioning being wack, the only think I can think of is you added {position:relative;}
or try adding background-attachment:fixed; to your body/html section
Btw you don't have to make your background image so huge.
Anyway, sorry if I wasn't much help. ^^;

Thanks, MidnightShadow, I'll play with those codes. ;)
I'm just used to working with bigger space. Did you say it because it's awkward in some browsers or cause of longer loading? goes to edit
Actually you helped me a lot. :)
The safari problem has something to do with the new gradient backgrounds that Keith implemented into the v2 profiles a few months ago.
If you don't disable them properly, they show up in some browsers. I can't see your profile coding since it looks like you took it down though. D; Can you put it back up so I can take a look?
I put it back up now. When I tried to edit the coding the SQL showed up and yah. x__x
It's just going to take longer to load and it's not really necessary. With the standard resolution your typical "canvas" size is 955x600px (but I feel like it's even less height than that when you use firefox with tabs open and the bookmark toolbar) So like.. it'd be a good idea to make your main profile image within those limits and then have a repeating background or something for those of us with larger resolutions (unless the bg image is a solid color, in which case it isn't necessary to make a repeating bg image) You don't have to do all this, I'm just telling you because I went a long time wondering why my profiles took so long to load and figure I'd pass on the knowledge.
:P
Um, if you have any questions feel free to comment me; I'll be around. Hopefully those codes work for you.
