HQ's item database only has info that users/staff submit to it... so it definitely doesn't have everything.

This is going to sound dumb, but did you actually CHECK the pet it was equipped to? I've had an item break in the BC...it usually means you can't use it again during that particular fight, but the actual item will still be equipped. (I've had this happen with my Ruffie Spiked Helm)
