Bah.

I have been playing this game for a few months now, and I noticed how bored I get just being here by "myself".

I don't have any friends and I would like one, not just to say I have one here but to actually talk to or role play with.

I feel so weird posting this. I'm such an introvert in real life so I think that's why I'm uncomfortable posting this. Hah. Well I'm just trying to get over myself and hopefully make some kind of companion.

I'm a major introvert IRL too. But then... I avoid MMORPGS for the same reasons... :x Making friends here is easy as pie though!

Thanks for the encouragement, but I guess I still haven't managed to make one. On the day I joined I had someone welcome me, comment on my profile, and asked me a question. I commented back about the type of role play I did and it seemed to turned then off. :x

Aw. I'm kinna sad to hear that you've spent most of your Subeta experience on your own. Especially when Subeta is such a community-driven site.

I see you don't post much on the forums, by your post count. It seems like an obvious suggestion, I know, but being really active in Subeta's more chatty areas is the fastest and easiest way to forge friendships.

Communication between users is concentrated in the forums, shoutbox, news comments, and of course, via profile comments/smail, so frequenting those areas of the site is to your advantage, at least in order to make friends. Given that there's a high concentration of the active population in those areas, you're more likely to find a few individuals with similar interests as you.

Don't be afraid of making a fool of yourself; it is the internet afterall, and as such, it's full of people making a fool of themselves. Make a fool of yourself, and you won't be alone, at least?

In any case, even if you do say something a bit silly and people criticize you for it, at the end of the day, none of these people know you in a real-life context, so they can't continue to berate you if you switch them off, and their opinion of you doesn't really count for much, given that they don't REALLY know the full you.

You seem like a pretty nice and genuine person. You can spell and type well. I don't see why you wouldn't be able to make friends on Subeta, given that skill-set. C: Subetans respect people with brains and spelling/typing ability.

You also mentioned you have an interest in roleplaying. Well. There are PLENTY of Subetans who also have an interest in that.

Just be a bit more chatty, and you'll be fine. :)
